[ELI5] Why don't we see much mixed celebs in Korea when Japan has so much of them despite both being considered as 'homogeneous countries'

Both Japan and Korea are known to be homogeneous countries but I've been seeing a lot of mixed and foreign celebs active in Japan ever since but save for Insooni and Yoon Mirae, it is only know I'm seeing more mixed and foreign celebs in Korea.

I remember seeing foreign celebs like Vivian Hsu being in Japanese mainstream TV shows and mixed celebs like Namie Amuro, Erika Sawajiri, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Wentz Eiji having a lot of fans in Japan years ago

The thing is Korea attracts more migrants and is a more multicultural society, theres just less of an interest or openness towards mixed celebrities. Like you have a lot of chinese idols but barely any mixed chinese-korean idols
