Will the same thing happen this year with TWICE and Ayeon? TWICE have been holding on to their no. 1 rank for the past 4 weeks despite powerful competition like AkMu, Crush, Eunji and Jessica.. and Ayeon is making her comeback on the 24th.. and I don't know of anyone big making a comeback before then... However, I want Ahyeon do well with this comeback after the great amount of success she had last year. If she can't get #1 or maintain it for long, I at least hope she be able to maintain some longevity within the top 5 or top 10. She deserves to be recognized more. (>'')>~~~ Akmu released their songs when Twice only release CU 10 days, so CU still really strong, and lots of people still download the song. However, when Ayeon release hers, it will be 4w after CU release, so ofc the song is not as strong as week 1 and 2. Ayeon hit big with Shouldn't have. Both Akmu and Ayeon comeback are highly anticipated by gp, so at least gp will listen to their song. If Ayeon's song is good, I think she has potential to be #1 on chart. A Yeon's Song will be competing against every song on the Chart Cheer Up is loved by a lot of Korean Subscribers, ONCEs (TWICE fandom) are just a small number of them, that's why other Songs chart ahead of them when they are released A catchy song will always beat a high profile Idol Group, unless they are the ones with the catchy song Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
