Fentyoncé 2,548
During an interview with Sports Chosun, Jessica spoke from a designer's viewpoint about her fashion brand 'Blanc & Eclaire', and clarified some rumors. Jessica first said, "In the beginning, I wanted to start small, and I started it because I thought it would be fun to see people visiting my design in a small space. However, thankfully many countries wanted my design. I think I was lucky." Then she clarified the rumors that she had left Girls' Generation to make money. Jessica stated, "This is business. You have to invest and reinvest into it and grow it gradually in order to spread the brand. That's why you cannot earn money right away. I really have not made any money so far." She also wished luck on her former girl group, saying, "I can no longer promote with Girls' Generation, but I hope those friends can successfully promote for a long time." Not really, idol income is more limited than run your own business. Idol get the payment from their agency meanwhile if you run your own business, your income is depend on how successful your business. Yuckfire 698
I love that she is opening up and remaing composed, but I don't want to see anymore article interviews from her for at least a month. I can't tell which ones are real, which ones are fake and which ones are twisted. I am not doubting her story, but this is leaving too much up to interpretation for her antis. snsdreceipts 10,693
I really appreciate all the Jessica tea recently. I, and most other I-sones I would think at least, were OT9 stans. It's really gratifying to finally get some closure on the situation. Makes supporting both much more natural imo.

Celebrities may not be the richest people of any given country; but, the are among the wealthy/rich. Well, if they're successful celebrities...Jess is a successful celebrity, though, so it's besides the point.

Like I said before idol income is more limited than run your own business. It's just one example of a successful company in fashion industry, don't being so inflexible, use some logic. There are a ton of successful company that success in short time but success or failure of a company is not measured by how long they founded but how they run their companies.
