I watched DIA on other variety shows and they are pretty fine. As long as they stick to the classroom concept for Blackpink, I am sure the episode will be fun and fine to watch I thought they changed the concept for them because they were considered variety newbies & the PDs didn't think they could make it work in the usual setting as newbies? Or at least that's what I read somewhere at the time. And since I would also classify Blackpink as "variety newbies", I had this fear that the PDs might try to "spice it up" again and stray from the usual format. I mean, don't get me wrong, I absolutely love how weird Jisoo is, it's so refreshing, but as a group they have yet to convince me in a variety setting. Low-key fearing another DIA-episode-level mess, but certainly hoping to be proven wrong. I'm with you. I find them cute and engaging, but I'm not sure they are ready for something so, aggressive, like KB is. I hope they do well, but I'm fearing something more along the lines of Irene & Jonghyun's episode. it wasn't a mess, but they both seem overwhelmed by the forceful personalties of the cast. I'm really hoping that it will be fun, but I don't expect them to bomb. I don't think that they will be as bad as DIA, or even GF (who my sig is in reference to). Is it just me or did Heechul seem really uninterested during the question period? He made up for it though, taking off his wig at the end was so funny. As long as they stick to the classroom concept for Blackpink, I am sure the episode will be fun and fine to watch Love DIA to bits but objectively they're not great variety material I actually like how KB would change things up a little every ten episodes last year, the first IOI episode & the Lovelyz one were great, but for some reason with DIA they seemed to go back to how the early show was before they introduced the classroom. Ya, thought it would be cool that it was on netflix, but they changed some much and skipped so much, it's a real mess. I'm looking forward to EXO next week. I can't recall all of them being on a variety show at the same time since weekly idol years back. It'll be fun to see how they've changed since then. but wasn't black pink supposed to film for this? is their episode being pushed back?
