Hi everyone I haven't talked in this thread before, but I watch this show every week so I figured I should lol.

 

 

 

Anyways the subs for the bts episode were release, what did you guys think of it?

I was kind of disappointed they seemed too careful with them, even more so than with other idol groups :/

Not my favorite episode, but it was fine. I'm sure ARMY enjoyed it. BTS did well for a idol group without much variety experience. 

 

Everybody says they are 'safer' with idols, but I feel like a lot of it is they just don't have time to dig into the stories of the guests enough. Instead they play games, which are really hit or miss with me. The problem isn't idol groups per say, just larger groups in general. I like getting to know the characters of the people on knowing bros, and in general there just isn't enough time with larger groups. 

 

There are many exceptions, and I feel like the criticism against idol groups is overblown in general, there are a lot of other factors in why we get fewer 'epic' episodes compared to ep 20 - 50 (imo the golden times of knowing bros). 

I agree, some of my favorite episodes have been idol ones, even though they dont get as much time with each member. But even with big groups like wjsn and exo they made more jokes about the idols with things like dating, smoking, etc. But i felt i didnt really notice any of that with bts, and it was mainly them complimenting them which was just a little disappointing to me.

 

Though I did like the mc's (brothers?) interactions with each other this episode

There was one BTS member that I hope will come back to the show, I think it was Suga, the one with the blue hair. He had this quiet way of being savage. 

Yeah I agree, I think if he came with out bts he would interact really well with the brothers. I think he could become really good at variety shows if bighit let him out more lol

Yeah I agree I really liked this last ep. You can really tell the difference when a celebrity whos comfortable with variety comes on the show. So many funny moments, but I think the jacket burning part was my favorite. Also, as someone with really loud and crazy friends, I cant tell you how much I could relate to some of the faces Changmin was making lmao.

The guests next week look funny too im excited.
