noon 20,968 Posted May 17, 2016 Share Posted May 17, 2016 ohh i didn't even see shownu's gma tbh i thought they were lighting the house on fire bc of hyungwon also i thought the flowers connected them/helped them come back to life? the scenes where they were soldiers suggested that so here's what i thought: they are basically a youth cult who believe (or really do) have powers and they are all connected by this flower shit or something. oh also the flowers make them immortal or some shit which is why jooheon's trifling ass puts his face in front of the gun. anyways they live under this military regime but obviously they are rebellious boys. from what i understand the guys being bullied by the military knew hyungwon yet they were not grateful when mx stepped in and helped them from being bullied. which is why he gets smacked (and beat up). this makes minhyuk smad. i agree about the shownu story, so that's all i have to say there but i don't really get how hyungwon died but in the end i think minhyuk exchanged his life for him (which is why he poured the vile in the tub). i think shownu did the same for his gma (didn't he drink a vial while watching the money burn?) also the scenes where they are dressed in white is an alternative universe???-- they've become soldiers and still dabble in magic which is why they see the blue thing in the sky?? idk this doesn't make sense also hyunwon putting the flower in that guys gun is a reference to that vietnam protest right? /random Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rosemary symbolises remembrance (of the dead) which is kinda relevant because a couple of people die in the mv. Plus, i don't think Hyungwon is dead because his hand was moving (the scene in the bathtub where minhyukie and hyungwonnie were holding hands). The only thing that's kinda easy to understand is Shownu's side of the story so far. I think it'll be easier to understand once we get the other parts. Given the relationship between Minhyuk and Hyungwon..I'm really wondering if this was done on purpose. And the "religious" men beating up Hyungwon may apply to this (I know not all religious people are homophobic but many homophobic people use the basis of religion to justify their hatred) ..I thought the music video was beautiful and I reaaalllyy hope the boys continue with this story.
