NineBraveMuses 3,326
They don't have a MV, but there are loads of fancams. The song is called "Mamma Mai" which is a sweet, up beat, old school sounding bop. It's nothing fancy to the hardcore Kpoppers, but for the casuals, it's fun, cute and catchy. Bodhi8Cat 5
I think Hadam and Bambino could sing the menu from a Korean restaurant and fans would follow them. They simply have the "heat" right now and the fans seem more intense and louder at every event. They are on their way, hit song or not. Laysha's Chocolate Cream probably a little better, but I don't think Laysha (and especially Dimepiece & Rose Queen) have the performance skills that Bambino has or the loyalty of their fans like Hadam & Eunsol & company
Bodhi8Cat 5
I keep hearing from Korean friends that Bambino, despite their talent and sweet sides, will "never be accepted" into the KPOP mainstream because of what Hadam did in that high school last year, where she is said to have deliberately danced "New Thang" without underwear to get viral attention. (Which she sure did!) I hope they are wrong but I would think that their management company might want to find a way to deal with this since Bambino is a hot property & it would be a shame to see them held back by something that most all the sexy marketing nugus (and most of the majors) are doing to get fans. Bambino just happened to be successful and have had staying power because they're so good.
DeeZee 1,603
I keep seeing them posted online, but I never listened to them because I assumed they were just a sexy dance group (that did cover songs). Was I wrong? Are they an actual group?
Bodhi8Cat 5
Mostly sexy dance cover, but they are also innovators who used a 360 VR camera to promote themselves and one of their two songs. They encourage fancamers, because they know that's what has made them the most viewed dance cover group (by total views) in history in less than one year. They are really not great singers, but songs are cute, as my friends above in this thread say. What's interesting is that they are so much fun as performers and considered to be the best at fan service. No one covers like they do and no one dares cover what they cover. Their version of "Up & Down" was reported by one site to be better than the original! They are redefining their category & I am watching them closely, since they do not seem to be taking the traditional route and, like Waveya, are their own women and want you to know that they ooze sex - and that's what just about all of KPOP is morphing into. There is a blog that is going to be dedicated to them & exploring whether they are innovators, or just another hot set of chicks on a major roll after a deliberate "wardrobe malfunction." bodhispeaks.com I'm really interested to know what others think here too.
