Adorable little stupid ass explanations for the wonders of the universe you came up with as a kid

When I was just a boy, I thought that when it rained, the angels were crying because God was disappointed in them. And when it was really windy I thought "God must be cooling his soup".

What's some weird ideas you came up with to explain why things were happening? Post your responses in the comment box below.

I used to think everything on television was live, which made watching Power Rangers and admiring how talented they are at changing outfits quickly kind of interesting.

I also used to think there were little people inside the traffic lights that decided when to change it to green, yellow, or red.

There was also a short time I thought the earth moved while I walked and that's why people talked about how "the world goes 'round."

And with pregnancy I was convinced you only got pregnant if you were married until my aunt came home pregnant and then I "realized" as a woman I was going to have to become pregnant no matter what and I spent the rest of the day having a mental breakdown in a corner of the house because "I don't want to ever have a baby". (Funny enough, I still don't want children.)

I don't know what was wrong with me as a kid but I never really wondered how the universe came into place when I was little  :derp:

My parents are Buddhists/Daoist so my mom would mention this "Sky Entity" that oversaw us but I didn't take that to heart. Honestly I just knew about vague theories of how the universe exists through the typical religious versions (Buddhist/Daoist at home, Christian from others) but I never believed any of them. Then I started getting exposed to science as I grew older and I've stuck with that ever since  :meow:

Thinking back now, I wasn't a very imaginative child  :._.:  I guess that explains my love for science and the medical field as an adult now

OMG I thought tv was live too. I actually thought there were cameras in the traffic lights for a really long time.

Haha I thought I was the only one who thought that. I really thought they were demolishing cities and stuff.
