I also want my faves to slay everyone else. But doing well on charts should not dictate how you grow as an artist. Sure the disappointment is there but you won't die from it and what matters most is doing the kind of music that suits you best and the one you love. There are a lot of great kpop songs that "flopped" (as people love to say) in Korea and I just think people who assume a song is bad because it doesn't chart are missing out.
