Honestly, although I don't think AOA deserve the hate they have gotten over the past weeks, the way international fans are describing what they did sickens me.

The real story is that they did something stupid, really fucking stupid and ignorant on their variety show. The staff prepared pictures of historical figures and the girls' mission was to name them. In case you don't know, Ahn Jung Geun was a really important figure during the japanese colonial ear as he was was a Korean independence activist and assasinated Ito Hirobumi. Ahn Jung Geun is someone who koreans get taught about really early on in their life. The fact that they didn't know about him isn't really what people got offended and angry about, it's that they refered to him as Kinddokkang, something japanese people supposedly called him and other koreans to bring them down, and in case you don't know: Korea and Japan do not have the best relationship in the world.

I don't understand why people are acting as if it wasn't wrong for them to do and say something that could be offensive and embarassing for the people in their own country. There have been a lot of japanese people making fun of Korea and Koreans because of what they say, and although I still don't think that they deserve nearly as much hate as they have gotten, the fact that they fucked up is still something you have to understand. Your own country's history is something you should be proud of and remember..

Hmm, that explains it. O . O I wouldn't feel as personally offended if my country's history were involved in such a situation, but I suppose some countries take more pride in their history than we silly belgians do.

Yeah, they couldn't identify a national hero by his picture and called him by his Japanese nickname. And they were laughing over it. Now knetz are ready to hang them.

If you watch the clip the staff said that word and Jimin repeated as in "Kinddokkang?" People are not even mentioning that they got told that word, it wasnt something they came up with and Jimin's crime is not knowing what it meant and repeating it.

And then we get more people on OH saying she called him Kinddokkang right off the bat and that it wasn't the PD who told her of that word. People who like to bandwagon and try to seem intellectual by saying this need to watch the clip first before their fingers get itchy to type some bs on some AOA related threads.

I hope AOA carry on slaying as they are now.

So did you seriously watch the show???

Our descriptions sicken you???

What sickens me is that knetz are so ready to jump on band wagon hate because of ignorance...

No wonder they are laughed at and made fun of by the japanese...

Like fucking silly sheep led to slaughter...

You disguise AJG as a hitman when in truth he is an assassin who freaking made a simple bomb out of a lunch box and luckily managed to kill his Japanese target..

And the target was actually Pro Korean...

So Imagine the stupidity...

Koreans even label AJG to be the same in popularity as Abraham Lincoln in founding their country...

You have your first president as Syngman Rhee.. Now that is the person equivalent to Abraham Lincoln...

I can give you receipts for all of this...

Question is can you back yours???

Bandwagoning or misread what was reported. In my case, it's the latter. Geesh, I feel sorry for the girls, don't piss me off.
