I agree with you at some part you mentioned above, anyway what me feel curious is the moment they say cheesy things... (that makes me feel it might be a scripted. ) They might have to say those things, to pleased some viewers.

 

Whenever Jota says, "You have me now" (Ep2) "You look pretty even if you dont try" (Ep3)

 

And i had a question, Jota is 23/24?? Is he really still dont have a license?hmm

Jota is actually cheesy naturally lol. The way he communicate with fans has too much cheesiness (he call fans 네꺼들) and he also replies them (those he knows personally) with aegyo. As a fan of MADTOWN, i can see that he's just being himself. Jota is really affectionate. He grow up with too much love given by his family. He's also not hesitant to show his concern/love to others (he hugs his members A LOT)

 

For the license, i'm pretty sure Jota knows how to drive just that he doesn't have a license. I think only few from MADTOWN members actually owns it. As i can remember, i think a fan ask them about it in one of their fansigns before

JOTA: what I regret is when I gave up Judo that I’ve been doing since I was 6th grade in elementary school until the 1st year in university. I didnt finish it till the end, I gave up in the middle, until now I feel regret but not to the extend I feel stress.There will be new challenge, if I can do that, I will feel satisfied.

 

YOU STOP DOING JUDO BECAUSE OF INJURY. HOW WAS YOUR FEELING BACK THEN?

 

JOTA: My ankle was injured, but not to the extend where it will get hurt anymore (it wasn’t really bad). I did the surgery, fortunately the injury stopped and it healed. because of the last exam I felt emancipation. I did it because I like it, but sport is really tiring. Finally many people told me to start do different thing. I quit when I was in 3rd grade in high school. I tried to start again when I was in university but stopped because of my heart told me that I can do something else.
