The next episode looks great! I like all the activities that they do. The judo training was pretty good, a pity that Jinkyung wasn't more active but I suppose she was dying at each contact and that was alot of chest shots.
Can't wait till I can see how the races go.

I didn't know this thread existed! I freaking love this couple. I got to know Jota through Cool Kiz On The Block (Judo) and I immediatly liked him. I'm now watching all the shows he's appearing in. If I was Jinkyung I wouldn't know what to do too, I would be really shy too

I think ILY is more of the "dating" show rather than the "being married" show. ILY is much more like the getting to know you stage of a relationship whereas WGM is more of facing life as a married couple while knowing each other's strength and weaknesses through missions. 

Alright thanks for the explanation, cause i dont think he could get long well w/ that noona 

 

Just for this I hope she gets her revenge by using her model poses to attack him with skinship, afterall he got to use judo to initiate and lead, she should do more of this to get him back, leave him blushing and giggling.

 

I hope she is a little competitive just to give the couple some spice.

Ep3 is lots of fun, and no most people know it's scripted we just discuss how much is scripted.  I'm willing to bet Jota offered Judo, and then staff sat down and decided what kind of things needed to happen and gave him a list probably with the order of activities in so they could plan camera directions and make sure they got enough filming done to fill their time slot.  I think they possibly suggested to Jota about the ring too, but when he gave it, and how and why, was probably left up to him, he just knew that he had to give it to her.  

For the next episode, staff have probably decided they should be an active energetic couple to differentiate the love-hate of Caolu and Seho, and the cute normal couple vibes of Eric and Solar, they probably asked them for a list of sports they like and things they want to do and then the staff organise those things into dates, wouldn't rule out the participants being able to 'ask' for certain things though as long as the staff can work it in.  This doesn't mean that both people are necessarily excited about everything they have to do, but because of the contract they do have to participate, like Jinkyung with Judo.  I don't think she was over the moon about it, (clearly she hadn't thought about all the abs and contact) but the contract means she had to at least try it. Couple that with her natural curiousity, and previously stated desire to be a 'wife' who supports her 'husband' it's not like they had to put a gun to her head.

I don't believe this makes the show too fake, but it also allows me to keep a cool head about certain couples knowing that certain things are preorganised, and that no matter what they're obliged to play along.  so no off days for you even if you don't feel like being romantic you have to smile.

 

Actually Im not really new watching this variety show, i used to watch wgm since 2013, example like TaEun & TeukSora Couple.

 

 

I agree with you at some part you mentioned above, anyway what me feel curious is the moment they say cheesy things... (that makes me feel it might be a scripted. ) They might have to say those things, to pleased some viewers.

 

Whenever Jota says, "You have me now" (Ep2) "You look pretty even if you dont try" (Ep3)

 

And i had a question, Jota is 23/24?? Is he really still dont have a license?hmm
