Recommendation for a small-sized cell phone?

Just upgraded from iPhone 5S which I had for a century to a S7 Edge and I just now realized I'm not into "phablets". My hands are really small... it's heavy too and I can't text in one hand. I can't adjust. So I'm thinking of buying a new phone altogether. Someone please give me suggestions.

 

Preferably

 

• Released in 2015 or 2016 with the latest android software
• I'm tired of iPhones
• Nice design and good specs
• Good reviews
• It doesn't have to be as small as iPhone 5s, but maybe smaller than iPhone 6
• I'm not picky if it's made in China

Your best bet if you are still looking for a phone right now I would say go with the 5X. Not only it is google branded (meaning you will get the latest updates when it comes out each time as you stated wanting the newest OS). It has great specs. If you can bear with the 1080p monitor than it should be good. One of the best rated phones with a 5.2 inch screen. Orr the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, smaller phone in a form factor, not as upgradeable (future proof). but still gets the job done
