After filming Ice fantasy (to be released this summer), Vic is quietly filming her first ancient drama that is Tonghua's Once Promised with Huang Xiaoming

 

A first look at the costumes

 

Currently there are zero promotions for this drama and it's very lowkey since Tonghua's novels are extremely controversial when it comes to historical fiction and led to some unfortunate cases like Sound of the Desert being re scripted and renamed. Once Promise will be renamed.

 

The cast is quite random. Aside from Vic and Xiaoming there's Sheng Yilun (Go Princess Go).

The production company is the same as Yangmi's 3 Worlds, 3 Lives and 10 Miles of Blossom Peaches, Yang Yang's Just one Smile is very Alluring etc
