Would you like it if Aki-P(AKB's producer) makes a korean 48 group?

I don't think he will (because there's no use promoting a group in Korea, I don't think it would bring $$$) but we never know.

Of course all the members would be korean and promoting in Korea only, and they would have the same system as AKB with the generations, graduations, rules, elections etc.

IMO this would be better than having 50 girl groups debuting every year, with the same type of songs and same concepts, and never getting popular...

He could call them KOR48 or SOL48 (for Seoul).

and maybe they would be a real competition to SNSD, just like AKB was a competition to Momusu but they surpassed them now.

so? good idea or not?

There would probably be noooo profit after the expenses of having a K48 group.

I wouldn't mind seeing it done, but I could not have a bunch of girls who all look like plastic sisters.

I already cry at AS graduations so no thanks  :omg:

but if the group has a LOT of members, the graduations aren't as difficult to accept... especially when they do it after some years, not too fast.

who am I kidding

it took me one year to accept Acchan's graduation

:horror:

I'm not sure how well received theyd be, 48 groups are so different from kpop groups

but if they go with a concept closer to what Korea likes, it would work, I think.

I don't know much about JKT but I'm pretty sure they don't pose in bikinis like AKB, right?

Besides there's nothing more exciting than AKB's system. the whole elections thing, janken tourament, all the events, the releases etc. it's just too good.

No because if they're following kpop model, the company would go broke trying to provide housing for the members alone

Edit.

Y''all should know JKT and SNH aren't like AKB

The oversea groups cater to the culture of that country, not take after the japanese group so it would just be like other kpop groups in term of style, but just way too many members

If akp-i was to take 16 girls from failed debuts in the past (Ham, Chocolate, Girl2school, Pandora, Swincle, ect) put them in one group

they wouldn't need that much training because they already debuted in the past...maybe have one or two AKB girls cross promote like Sae and Akichan (move Sayaka and tano yuka to Korea tbh they have the talent)... and find some housing (which AKp-i can afford cause the man is rich) have them promote in japan right before a major Korean comeback to make some quick cash (cause anything with 48 name can sell in japan) and slowly but surely add more girls along the way

I could see this working despite most of the reactions here lol

Yeah I like your idea of taking members from failed groups (only the best ones) and re-debut them as a 48 group.

I think especially the elections would bring a lot of sales. I mean, korean people + all Kpop fans would check the group. they could have interesting elections too, though it can't happen when they have only one team but yeah...

there are almost no chance for it to happen XD but we can imagine how it would be~

JKT has no bikinis lots of underage were involved in it so no

+ i think they only like to made 48 groups where Girl Groups are rare like China or HK

I don't understand the comments of not being able to make a profit off of there.

How are they making a profit in Indonesia/China then when their music industries aren't even as profitable as Korea's? :wut:

Korea is only 2nd to Japan in East Asia. China is #3 and Indonesia isn't even in the top 5, lol.

Tbh, I've thought about this and I think it would be interesting. Why not? :har: The reactions themselves would be soooo worth it.

Because Korea already have a shit tons of idols. Also Indo and China have more ottunity because of the population is high esp China. if they debut in Korea they wont be very successful because the cost would be too high and idol trend is fading

True.

But I wouldn't be opposed to it happening in the future... after the Hallyu truly is dead, lol. Cause with the way AKB is still going... I don't see their popularity fading any time soon. So by the time Hallyu truly ends and people stop debuting so many idols and stuff, perhaps debuting a 48 group in Korea wouldn't be so bad. And hopefully relations between both countries are better too. But who knows... the 48 domination could easily crumble too for some reason, so idk.

I just think it'd be awesome. :ahmagah:
