Woollim Entertainment merged with SME

Leon Entertainment is in the process of buying and taking over Starship Entertainment

What about JYPE and YGE, are they going to also takeover another company, i am not too sure about that.

If that were to happen, what companies would you want JYPE or YGE to merge or takeover.

I want YGE and JYPE to merge :hurr:

jk, i want them to stay the way they are

YGE needs to expand or merge... Their managment department is horrible (becuase YG wants to control everything). Not even talking about the acting department.

With all rookies that are going to debut next year + all the comebacks, Im already seeing all the delays that will happen'

If YG is to expand or merge, they should do it with an acting company, not a music company.

 IHQ and CUBE as well

So SISTAR will be under Leon?? wasn't there an article on SM trying to get Starship and  Mblaq's company?

I think YG already merged with C-JeS, since YG moved Tablo's wife and Gummy there. It's just that they kept it secret.

Umm they wouldn't be able to keep an official merger a secret. It might be that they discussed a partnership though and that Gummy and Tablo's wife already moved there ahead of other plans. I think a CJes/YG merger would be very interesting for multiple reasons. If YG wants to keep up with SM and the industry he needs to expand beyond just music while CJes hardly has any musical acts. JYJ with YG's influence would be interesting to see..

Seems like, especially when the allkpop's article is named "LOEN in the process of buying Starship". So I guess it's 100% sure Sistar will end up under LOEN by the end of the year. Anyway, it was a matter of time until a big agency buy Starship.

I think the next one is probably Chrome Ent if Crayon Pop continue to do well.

In terms of music, YG is not in a position where they feel desperate enough to merge. They are doing fine and there are no signs of any other company overtaking them in the future.

I do, however, believe that there is some sort of feud going on between certain companies. So lines are being drawn as we speak.

C-Jes is more acting tbh. Their only musical act is JYJ.

YG and C-Jes sounds good, JYJ in YG  :ahmagah:

i think if YG wants to merge with CJES it would be for their acting department. CJES is only a management company for JYJ. JYJ is not actually under CJES, the more appropriate term would be: JYJ hires CJES to manage them.

True. But I'm sure if YG and CJes do merge, YG will give them some form of support one way or another (but I still doubt JYJ would get a chance to appear on public broadcast). Maybe a song feature or something like that. But either way, YG needs help managing his actors/actresses. A LOT OF HELP.

it really would be nice if they'll be able to help JYJ given their current state... And yeah, if there really is a merging or partnership or whatever that is happening, CJes can definitely help YG in their acting department.

JYP is being busy making its account black. CEO Yang shouldn't manage anything more than he currently is. buying another company doesn't seem like a good move for both.

I'm also curious about the condition of Star Empire.
