I just legitimately want to know why this is a thing. In a traditional sense, males would be considered to be more masculine if they had sexual attraction to the opposite sex as opposed to the same sex. Groups in Kpop are quite sexualized, if I must say. I understand that you can like a group without being attracted to them, but let's just generalize here and forget about logic since that's what this stereotype about male 'girl group' fans is practically based on. So, wouldn't male fans actually be considered more masculine than feminine if they stan a girl group? If not, please inform me. P.S. I know these threads are getting old by now. I don't see people calling fanboys of 4minute/2ne1/other groups like them feminine. Either way, I don't care and people can like what they want.
