I thought it would be some lame chick lit but I was pleasantly mistaken

Considering the book is largely about Chinese & Chinese Americans, and Hollywood is trying extremely hard to break into the Chinese market, no.

Yes I have. It was an interesting read. I would probably check the movie out for sure. And no. Please keep it Chinese since the characters in the book are from HK and Singapore.

I've read it. I forgot what it's about though since it's like a long time ago and too many books have taken it's place.  .

i thought this book would be about the legion of rich ass chinese families that migrate to the west but this just sounds like a taiwanese comedy
