strawberrykiss 1,969
hi i'm overweight and meaning to lose about 5-6 kgs in a month(by 14th of june). i know it's not dangerous as I tend to lose weight easily cause I am chubby and have done it before. what is a simple workout routine that I can incorporate into my day? i'm a university student so my hours are pretty flexible. should i work out in the morning(i'm talking 6-7AM) or at night? please let me know if you have any other tips. would love to hear your thoughts! jvng 3,864
eat enough times a day and dont eat a lot at once, also try not to eat anything after dinner, and drink water for me that's the quickest way to lose extra weight on top of working out
sugar101 114
definitely best to pair exercise with a proper diet like the others have said! i would think that mornings would be better if you have the dedication to get up early and do it, i dunno it just makes me think that it would kick start your metabolism for the day and help you in continuing to burn fats through the day. as for simple exercises that you could incorporate into your day... how about rope skipping & maybe some circuit training (crunches, lunges, burpees etc)? okey dokey 1,082
Try to eat smaller portion of meals and change your eating habit, also don't forget to exercise One more important thing, do not compress your sugar intake too much, based on my own experience i tend to get a headache and i easily get tired so try to eat sweet stuff once in a while. Goodluck!
SoSHE 874
Agree with everything else said above but don't forget strength training, too! Your muscles need love too and that will definitely help you tighten your body up.
93_L 75
Weight loss is mostly determined by your diet. With that said, never skip any of your meals especially breakfast. Just like the others said, you can reduce your food portion and drink more water instead. Control your daily intake of salt, sugar and consider substituting white food like white rice and white bread to their healthier alternatives. It doesn't mean that you'll skip carbohydrate entirely, just replacing them with better alternatives. As for exercise, find an exercise that you will enjoy and my suggestion is probably in the evening? Good luck!

TIGER 17,678
Eat something for breakfast, that's the most important thing. Not too much though, bread is enough. Then five pieces of fruit throughout the day - avoid bananas if possible. Lunch is okay, as long as it's no fast food. Nothing after 5 p.m. As for exercising, try to always do something. Get rid of your chair while studying and stand, do some squats or whatever you want to do. Plus look at yourself in the mirror more often, if there are no changes you have to work harder. Weighing yourself may be scary, but you don't seem to have a problem with that. Just do it regularly. The last thing is finding a friend to lose weight with, you need people to compare yourself with to achieve something. This should work and give you some results after... like, five months? xD
