According to some news I have heard they are saying Kpop Star Season 4 is a strong possibility.

I wonder who will shine the most this season post-show as we know through previous shows being Top1 doesn't mean immediate success. I think the greatest, and most unexpected, is Lee Seunghoon. They placed him very strategically. He is in a group where his personality, choreography skills, teamwork, and charisma takes the lead. He is improving in rap. And he has sky-rocketed to popularity through WIN. I expect him to have more fans than either Lee Hi or Park Jimin. And Akdong Musician from day 1 dominated the Korean music domain so they will continue to do so with the powerful backing of YG.

I haven't forgotten Hong Junghee... I want to see her debut.

I adored both Eun Yeol and Hong Junghee.

Clearly, yes. The top2 should have been Jinah and The Shorties. But perhaps they felt a male contestant had to win since a male solo hasn't won yet. Who know - all I know is I am cheering The Shorties, Hong Junghee, Eun Yeol, and the two bright-eyed dancers (who need 3-6 years of training).

I think they reversed what I thought they should do - they spent 80% on performances pre- Top 18 and only like 10% of the season on Top10. We could have cut down on the preliminaries. I'm not a fan if them eliminating 2 pple at a time.

I meant the elimination process. The initial audition (sooo many episodes), high-middle-low ranking, the two team performances, the first elimination (three episodes worth, I think), and etc etc.

Something should part ways. They can do so much more without the other - they were great to gain publicity but each will do better without the other. I am not saying I don't want to see them debut - but I don't see them successfully debuting together. He with vocal training will easily win all the noonas' hearts. She will need to become a strong song-writer before becoming successful.

In other news, JYPE is starting to give 15& good songs though they could still work on promotions/marketing and not use Kpop Star as a crutch/easy solution and release the teaser right before it gets released. However, the song appears to be doing well right now on the charts. Though I hope the album has more equally of parts during the songs as it felt like Yerin lead the song and had the most impactful parts. But, I am glad it is a better song in general. Though, to be honest, there placement as no.1 might be an effect of it just being released though I would live for them to be nominated.

JYPE prioritizes its idol groups over their solos (unless it's Suzy). That is the problem. He doesn't put enough effort in his kpop star contestants. Let's see how he manages Bernard.

He liked Jimin and JYPE trained Yerin for many years ... Yet their marketing, to put in simply, blows. And as a reminder it is JYPE and not JYP in the driver' seat.

To be honest, in this song he might have been the producer and/or songwriter ... But generally he doesn't control JYPE. And I agree.

YESYESYESYES! It has even proven. The show made a grave error when they eliminated a contestant. To the point they let her shine in the final. Hong Jung Hee was dynamite. She should have never been eliminated! She is a ballad powerhouse and easily would have taken on Bernard. I hope Antenna or another company recruits her ASAP - she has my full support. There is a complete chance I would buy her music over Bernard. My support for her might rival my love for The Shorties. I am in bless. It was a great surprise - and I didn't have to waste my time watching the contestants. 15& and Hong Junghee!!! (Too bad the Shorties didn't have a real performance.

You can really see the difference between YG abs JYPE through their MVs. It shows the stark difference between what the two can do with the top 1 contestants. Jimin doesn't even get an MV released yet (for their current song) but Akdong Musician gets three. And one that is beyond brilliant. I really feel bad for Jimin. YG is really spending a lot of time and money on their K-pop Star contestants. It's quite disappointing. Even though I like JYPE music a lot better if I was a contestant I would choose YG for the very fact I knew he would handle my deput very well. I can't really trust JYPE right now. They aren't doing a lot for 15& music. I know 15& is doing very well in the charts but is mostly without the help of JYPE and their marketing failure… But imagine if YG was their company. They would have reached an all kill. I know YG makes more money but that doesn't necessarily explain the vast difference between the two artist groups. Is just too wide.

Hong Jung Hee did have a great performance  and yes, the judges made some grave mistakes which they tried to correct by bringing Kim Kiryun, Peter Han & Hong Junghee to the final

My heart will burst if Antenna recruit Hong Junghee. Though my heart will equally burst when she gets recruited, in general.

 

And KIM KIRYUN was awesome in the final performance. I hope we see him again!!!

I still adore JYPE artists and generally like almost all their music. And I know to debut under JYPE is a huge advantage. I just wish they fine-tuned their marketing strategies.

Heejun was in the news when he reported there were companies interested in him - but no new updates yet. Probably won't for awhile to respect as mourn the victims and survivors of the ferry tragedy.

No surprise but YG just announced Han Na was recruited. She was pretty much an assumed in. I rather hear about The Shorties and Junghee. Singers who could debut now and be successful. Han Na has a decent voice but it is her visuals that helped a lot - let's be honest - she's very pretty and fits the Korean standard of beauty mold. But JUNGHEE I may be a little in love with you

I knew it. Since the beginning I knew Jinah and Sam would go to Antenna. I could feel it. Antenna will offer solid training for Sam in regards to guitar and vocal training (with Korean lessons, I hope). Jinah is almost ready for debut. Antenna will concentrate on making them great musicians.

 

I want to hear about Hong Junghee though!!!

Why haven't we heard anything about The Shorties or Junghee yet? They were the vocal powerhouses. I hate to see them enter into obscurity because they happen to not fit the ridiculously narrow view on beauty. I think all four women are beautiful and madly talented. So let me hear their voices!!

I heard. They sure are recruiting and debuting Kpop Star 3 contestants quicker than other seasons. However, I remain more interest in WHERE The Shorties are!? They were brilliant. And Hong Junghee. It is those two contestants I want to hear about. Bernard shone a little on JYPE One Mic, Jinah sang an OST, if Hanna really debuts with YG than she will be big just for debuting with YG as they are promotional pros with a big wallet, Sam will need training, Almeng will debut soon SO why haven't we heard about the lovely trio and the one contestant you can clearly see was eliminated too early. I still rather but Hong Junghee' music over 80% of the top 10 contestants.
