One girl never responded to my e-mails, not once. I needed a good mark on the project, so I ended up doing most of the work myself. And get this, the girl who never responded to my e-mails showed up on the day we were presenting and expected me to give her a part to present lol. It's not that the other person doesn't try but I have to check and redo everything he does. At least he tries but that's a pain is the asset. Last year I had a more important project and I was designed leader (I hate being the leader) by the teacher. No one cared in the group besides 2 or 3 people including me, I was so mad at that time. Cause active people were annoyingly active and usually had no skills to do their job properly but if I havent included their part or remade it they were offended and we end up in big arguments. And I'm not usually the 'leader' type but I had to freakin arrange everything and then people wouldn't turn up or would show up like an hour late when I live an hour away from there. =.= Glad those days are over. I had to do my final year university project all by myself (which was around 200-300 pages) while getting ready for the final exams as well. There are such losers who are waiting to be free riders in every group project. at-least you are in a better luck than me coz it was a 10 page report. My groupmates haven't attented in class for about 2 weeks now. They also don't answer my texts. So I decided to tell my tutor. He said he would try to contact them, but still hasn't done that. I really don't know what to do! I don't even mind doing that presentation on my own, it's just that we have to prepare everything as well. She just volunteers to do the assignments/projects by herself to the teacher so that her conscience won't bug her at night for covering up for her group mates for not cooperating at all. You could report about your member's lack (or none) of cooperation to the teacher/ lecturer. Some lecturers take these issues seriously so I hope it works out for you. Stuff like this is why I'd choose individual assignments over group most of the time ps: If there is peer review involved, you could give them very low marks or maybe submitting the paper by yourself but acted like you didn't complete it in time or something just to scare them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
