Morgin 275
Eat healthy : 3 meals per day, no snacks in between. It's completely useless to eat less, so don't starve yourself. I think the key is doing exercise. It's the only way to lose weight efficiently tbh.

redheart 7,440
acknowledge the fact that the way you eat is linked to your lifestyle if you really wanna lose weight and maintain a certain weight, you'll need to change your habits as well so I wouldn't say eat less but eat more fresh and natural food (vegetable, fruits etc) but of course it doesn't mean that you can't eat other foods anymore but not as much as before also exercice a lot, maybe get a suscribtion for the gym and go at least 4 times a week or go for a 30min run every other day. Just try to be more active in general In the begining it might a bit hard so don't put too much pressure on yourself start slowly maybe ask your family or friends to help you throught this. this turned out to be pretty long lol, but yeah that's it Good Luck ! 5th_wall 1,042
20 lbs in 2-3 months is too much for a healthy, steady weight loss. Also fat weights less than muscle, so if you are going to be more active, you should focus more on how your body feels and looks instead of what the scales tell you. Other than that: 1. Discipline, it's going to suck and you will hate it but there is simply no easy way to lose weight. 2. Patience, you WILL plateau at a certain point for a while. It happens. Don't give up. 3. Start by analyzing your food intake and overall behaviour: write a diary or take pics of EVERYTHING you eat and when you eat it, do this for 2 weeks, then read and see where your "hidden" calorie intake comes from. Try to eliminate this or change it for a healthier option. E.g., snacking on chocolate after work? Replace with a banana or have your dinner earlier if you really need to eat at that time. 4. Walk everywhere. Go swimming. Do some weight training.

슬기isë”들 1,376
First of all, your BMI can only tell you so much. However, you are probably still overweight. You need to start by cleaning up your diet - no junk food, candy, soda, added sugar, white flour, starchy foods, fast food. You should be mainly eating vegetables (leafy greens, sweet potatoes, zucchini), fruit (grapefruit, berries, bananas), whole grains (oatmeal, brown rice, quinoa), dairy (greek yogurt), and protein (beans, brown rice, tofu, cheese, greek yogurt, chicken breast). No beverages besides water, tea, and coffee (all without added sugar, milk, etc.) Also, water helps you burn calories and fill you up. Aim to eat less food more often. Instead of 3 huge meals, eat 5 small ones throughout the day. For the exercise part, start doing cardio (learn kpop dances, bike, row, jump rope, swimming). You should be exercising 30-60 minutes a day. Also do yoga and stretches before and after exercising. Walk as much as you can~ Look up FitnessBlender on YouTube and do any of their workouts. Jump roping and dancing are the best workouts in my opinion, and you can work up to jump roping 5000 times a day. Start by 50 jumps at a time, then 100, then 200. Then do 1000 skips 5 times a day ^^ I probably have left something out, so feel free to message me if you have an questions P.S - 20 lbs is a very healthy goal for 3 months. A loss of 2 pounds a week is definitely not too much~
JKDance 12
If you have problems sticking to smaller meals throughout the day (like me..), you could try something called intermittent fasting, which is what I do. There's many different types but I typically eat 2 big meals a day (around 700 calories per meal) and it keeps me in the calorie range I need to be in but still satisfies me as opposed to eating like 200 calorie meals throughout the day. I'm the type of person that if I don't eat, I'm ok but once I start it's hard to stop until I'm pretty much completely full. DO YOUR RESEARCH before you jump into it and make sure you are actually eating enough (and eating healthy)! It's always overwhelming to do everything at once and also the reason I think why most people quit after a week or two so once you start seeing some results, I think it would be good to add in some exercise to further your gains and not overwhelm yourself from the beginning . Big Stupid Jellyfish 1,913
Create a deficit. It's not hard to lose 1-2 pounds per week through diet alone if you just count your calories. A lot of people fail at this because they underestimate how much they're actually eating.
