It's AMAZING) and the main character who had not been in contact with her mother for like 10 years comes back with a 7 year old girl (I won't spoil the story line). A line which the mother said literally shocked me. Someone suggested that maybe the daughter had had an affair with a married man and the mother said something along the lines of "an affair is not a problem". I was like "Whaaaaat. For one, women aren't generally judged more harshly than men for cheating (except maybe if the couple has children). Most people just assume they're judged more harshly because nobody ever actually talks about this kind of stuff except the assholes who judge them more harshly.
