Last year, Beyoncé came out with a revolutionary album that saved Club Hallyu. After winning Discotheque Season II, Villain and Beyoncé took over not only Hollywood, but North and South America. Together, Villain andBeyoncé ruined all the music stations and companies in those areas. Beyoncé was feared by all and life was good for Villain and Beyoncé. They were to be married...UNTIL Beyoncé ditched Villain and went on to take on THE WORLD, all by herself.

 

She banned all music other than her own and every essential song was replaced with Beyoncé-esque replicas.

She replaced everything with something that would represent her in some way; she had every place under her control...except one.

 

Hallyusburg. Somehow in her mad quest for power, she missed the one place where she started out and thus, five mysterious super vocalists got together and planned to stop Beyoncé and save the world.

 

 

And so, Season III of Discotheque begins. It's time to save the world and restore peace to this new dystopian lifestyle. Artists, bands, and groups from all over Hallyusburg have come running in hopes of saving the world. Will you be the one to save the world or will you stumble and fall failing us all?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

GAME RULES:

 

 

WELCOME TO SEASON III

 

This season will be like season II in many ways. You select an artist, be it a solo artist an idol group, or even a band, and you only get to choose one. Once you have decided on your representative, you have to stick with their discography the whole competition, (I suggest you pick an artist with a lot of songs to choose from, with a vast, varying discography) submitting a song (unless stated otherwise) that best matches the theme. Your song will then be scrutinized by a panel of judges who will give you a score out of ten, and give their input on what they think about your submission.

 

After the judges’ critiques announced, the charts will be revealed and the eliminations will take place.

Overtime, scores are kept and added together to make up the OVERALL ANNUAL CHART POINTS, and the contestant with the most points wins!! This competition is based off of consistency more than “ooh I had a banger for this round~ I should win.†No. That’s not how it works. The artist with the better overall music will win.

There will be 10 rounds, and 25 contestants. Since it's really hard to get microphones since this is the apocalypse and all, we could only afford to record 5 albums, so for some rounds there will be two or three eliminations per round until we have the top 5.

 

*GAME WILL START May 7th 2016.

 

 

-NO RESUBMITTING (unless asked to)

-ALL MEMBERS MUST BE IN THE SONG (one way or another)

-NO INTROS/ INTERLUDES/ EXTRO

-NO REMIXES

-NO SONGS THAT AREN'T APART OF YOUR ARTISTS' DISCOGRAPHY

-NO MESSAGING JUDGES/GM FOR HELP

 

- NO UNRELEASED TRACKS

- NO TRACKS IN WHICH YOU ARTIST FEATURES, TRACKS OF YOUR ARTIST THAT INCLUDE A FEATURE WITH SOMEONE ELSE ARE ALLOWED TO EXTENTS.

 

 

CONTESTANTS:

 

  • KNOW YOUR ARTISTS DISCOGRAPHY'S WELL!! *The reason sign ups are early is so that you find a suitable artist ad get to know them in time.
  • Be able to submit on time (There will usually be a round spread out into two days. Around 7-8 hours for you to submit, and the results will be announced the next day, where the contestant voting will take place. If people submit quicker, and judges judge faster, then we may possibly have shorter rounds. Bonus rounds will happen at random intervals)
