Questions about SNSD 2016

I'm a curious SONE and I have some questions:

What are the chances that SNSD will have a comeback as a group this year?

Also, do you think that SNSD will renew their contract and goes solo one by one like Suju, or have a really successful group comeback and separate to go their own ways? (note that a lot of them especially Hyoyeon wants to get married desperately)

Lastly, who do you think will go solo/sub-group debut next after Tiffany? (I am rooting for SHY and Seohyun)

Thanks for fulfilling my curiosity :)

Heard that they'll comeback w/ a Japanese release this year so anticipate that.

I see SNSD lasting for about 2 more years, then disbandment or hiatus.

Hope Hyoyeon gets a solo, at least a Station release.

70% chance that SNSD will comeback as a group this year. There's humors that it will be on August but it's not yet confirmed. We are expecting more solo acts from SM so group comebacks are not 100% guaranteed. Plus the fact that we are expecting Japanese release from our girls. Also, their Phantasia tour is not yet over so I think they're not yet prepared for another comeback.

Yes, SNSD will renew their contracts. (Think positive!)

Hmm, it's a hard question but I think it's Seohyun. For SHY I don't know but hopefully why not?

SJ are not having a solo one by one. KRY had solos because they're the vocals. Henry and Zhou Mi had solos because not enough SJM promotions. So I wouldn't expect solos from non TTS members in SNSD.

I think that SNSD will have at least one Korean comeback in 2016-2017 and probably a Japanese one as well. Some tours too.

Average marriage age in South Korea is 30, so I doubt that any of them will rush into marriage before around 2020. I don't see them breaking up based on commercial reasons while SNSD brings them a lot of popularity and profit and most of them are not on the level to make even 50% of that on their own.

But yes, at some point some of them will decide to get married and SNSD will face a more or less permanent group hiatus where members will either quite entertainment altogether or have individual activities. But that will probably be after 2020, unless something unexpected happens.

SNSD will renew their contracts. There's literally no reason for them not to. None of the members seem disinterested in continuing as a group and the majority have expressed interest in promoting until they become "ahjummas".

Kim Taeyeon, the oldest member, is only 28. So age isn't an issue.

They still sell well digitally and physically, and sell out tours in seconds. They still get plenty of CFs and increasing solo opportunities for dramas, Station releases and official solo debuts. Also lots of magazine covers and variety.

They're not going anywhere.

and @ antis saying they're over

Also what's this shit about getting married? Who said getting married means they can't keep promoting? Sure it's not common, but 100% they can do it.

hmmm i want them to still last as long as they can, but at some point it will end. I think after their jap album, maybe they'll have one more cb. I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually decide to end it. They accomplished so many things and are still killing it, but I know that it can't last forever. & hopefully seohyun!

I don't see them having a group comeback in Korea until next year, and imo it may be their last comeback for a long time. Taeyeon will definitely have a solo comeback this year, and as for TTS...I'm not sure about how efficient/valuable a comeback will be at this point tbh, when both Tae and Tiff have their own solos going on.

I also think they will not have a group comeback this year in Korea but they will release something in japan (hopefully)

I don't think they will disband this or next year, they said they want to be like shinhwa more than once. They will go on hiatus on 2018 or 2019  I think

Just looking at them I can notice they really love and still want to be SNSD.

SNSD Snapchat is the best thing in the world

TVXQ and probably Suju won't be having comebacks meaning there more room for multiple comebacks from current groups or more opportunities for solos. SNSD are taking advantage of that with Tiffany and almost certainly Taeyeon having solos (I'm thinking Yuri may either be much later in the year or may not happen till next year) and looking backat their steller 2015, I think the chances are very high for a group comeback. There's also a chance for Japanese comeback, there was mention of something happening with them (a tour?)

As for disbandment, I think they may renew for a couple more years at most, I mean look at them currently; they're STILL the biggest gg around and they all have their own solo interests in the industry even while still in the group. Not to mention how versatile they are: you got singers, dancers, actresses, TV hosts, variety stars etc, even if SNSD doesn't carry on with group activies members can do their own thing and still have a successful career. SM would be crazy to let one of the biggest and most influential groups in kpop ever go so easily when they're still top dogs almost a decade on.

I think SNSD will continue to promote as SNSD, but have their own individual activities in between the rests, like solos, acting, modeling and stuff, but then comeback as SNSD. I don't want them to disband yet T.T I haven't even seen pink ocean in real life!!! I'm only 15 gaddhhh, if only I was older and had money. I do believe that if (IF) SNSD disbands, TTS and other members who have started their solo careers will probably continue to promote and shiz.

Group comeback: Almost 100% positive, but maybe not a Korean comeback? Definitely a comeback of some sort. Probably a Japanese album.

Contract renewals: Yes for SM, unsure about whether they will continue as a group but definitely renew their SM contracts and probably SNSD contracts as well

Solo: Most of them will probably have SM station releases, and Yuri was maybe getting a solo. But I wish Seohyun would get one. She'd slay!

I think they've already shifted over to individual and solo activities a lot more, so I think they'll just slowly part ways. Not this year, though. SNSD still be going strong at least for 2016.
