Firstly, I'm going to state that I never found any idol ugly (at the most just unattractive). At least, I wasn't attracted to them until much later.

 

 

Xiumin. I used to think that he just looked like a squirrel. Now I think that squirrel is hot af and now he's no. 3 on my bias list (btw this was before he turned into a stripper)

i didn't find jin from lovelyz THAT attractive when they first debuted, but after seeing how awkward/charming she was on shows like after school club and lovelyz diary i started thinking she was a+

I first discovered dramas, and was solely watching them for pretty boys. One day I looked for a good drama recommandation and found "My GF is a Gumiho". I actually looked up the leads and found Shin Min Ah gorgeous, but Lee Seung Gi was meh. I almost skipped it because of him, but the story looked interesting so I gave it a chance. Watching the first ep made realise he looks better in motion and I loved the drama the more I watched. At the end of ep 7, he smiled and the world suddenly changed. I found him the most handsome guy ever. After listening to his concerts and live, I became a fan. Watching him on varieties just made me go gaga over him more. I love you Seung Gi-ya

I used to think Kis-My-Ft2 (Kisumai for short) was one of the ugliest boy groups I had ever seen in my entire life (no I'm not exaggerating at all    ), with only 1 guy slightly above average (Tama) while the rest were seriously unfortunate-looking   But gradually by getting to know more about them, I've come to appreciate them as a whole & individually   Now I feel so much more... comfortable whenever I look at their photos, heck I even purchase magazines with them on cover   I stan the 4 least attractive boys, who formed a sub-unit / side project group called BUSAIKU (which means UGLY in japanese, strange name I know)    And my favorite members are:

 

Senga, a gorilla look-alike mostly known for his top dance skills within Johnny's (I actually don't find his dancing THAT good though  ) 

 

 

He's the youngest in the group & often gets teased by almost everyone around him (groupmates, fans, senpai s, kouhais) for his silly remarks & attitudes, which earned him the nickname tennen (airhead)    He used to be among the most popular & also most pushed members pre-debut but suddenly lost his center position, which made him questioning his dreams & goals in life   He refused to debut with another group because he wanted to stay as part of his beloved Kisumai & now he's happily working with his long-time comrades   

 

Miyata, an otaku obsessed with anime, claiming he's learned various useful things by watching them all day, who often gets bullied by other members 

 

Although usually considered a good-for-nothing member who has no specific talent to make him stand out as an idol, he loves his group a lot, enjoys idol activities & is always thankful to his (not so many) fans  Left behind by his best friend Tama who was suddenly moved from back row to center & crazily promoted as the face of the group, he feels sad but has never harboured any hard feelings towards the latter    They remain best friends until now through many ups & downs, with Tama being tsundere, having turning down countless shameless confessions from Miyata

big bang t.o.p, i never thought he is ugly but after i start to be a fan of big bang he went from just a normal idol to being so hoottttt

i didnt think dahyun was that pretty but when i start watch twice on interview + variety then EPL i think she is so pretty and fresh like flower

I wasn't attracted to J-Hope either at first, but after watching Rookie King I think he's handsome and charming. He has cute ears.
