Persona. Easily beats out anything FFXV has to offer. FF hasn't been amazing in a long time (that includes anything FF7. Game is highly overrated). Last FF I really loved was 6. FFXV isn't making me want to change my mind.

Did you hear they going to be showing more Persona in E3 this year

Persona.

FFXV looks good but so far that's the only pro i can give it, if Noct's dad was the protagonist, it would have been another story. and also because i don't have a PS4 yet.

final fantasy is, historically, GORGEOUS and the new entry looks pretty fun. i like the setting a lot though mythologically it seems a bit "typical".

persona is consistently top of the line, deep, and has really taken strong art direction to become beautiful in its own right.

persona ftw.

getting both, though. already have FFXV preordered, just holding off on p5 a bit waiting for confirmation i can get that artbook without buying the jam-packed special edition.

FFXV. I have no experience with the Persona series, and all I got from P5's trailers was just a bunch of flashy effects. I'll still get it, but FFXV is a day one buy.

persona is a social commentary on the real world and features a wider variety of character types than most japanese games (like Earthbound, but less comedic and more serious). it's HIGHLY character driven and there is a lot of care taken to tell a plot that is not just entertaining but hard-hitting, usually covering a lot of taboo topics and the dark underbelly of regular society (people we'd otherwise think are normal).

the persona's themselves which are reminiscent of "summons" in other games (in a way) personally tied with characters and are based on existing myths/legends/stories from societies around the world.

i highly recommend checking the series out. each entry is stand-alone... 4 is probably the easiest/smoothest entry to get into right now.

I know what the games are about (though thank you for taking the time to write out that summary). I just meant that I've never played any of the games so I'm not invested in the series, whereas I have played a few Final Fantasy titles and am interested in the next installment. The Persona 5 trailers didn't persuade me as much as the FFXV trailer either. That's all I meant. :)
