Oliver 22,442 Posted May 5, 2016 Share Posted May 5, 2016 I have noticed that there is a stereotype that Gfriend is much better then Twice when it comes to digitals.. but in fact Gfriend and Twice are pretty equal.. both are doing amazingly well digitally.. and continued to do better with Rough and Cheer Up.. I took the weekly download numbers for both Like Ooh Ahh and Me Gustas Tu and I was kinda surprised too.. I realized that I also believed that stereotype of Gfriend >>>> Twice when it comes to digitals but nope..... they're pretty much even and continue to edge each other out weekly.. and the fact that both songs are still charting really well is amazing.. But when comparing week to week, TWICE is just as amazing when it comes to digital sales. I like both groups btw and I'm glad they're both popular (: I know lots of people in this forum hate TWICE and get mad everytime the girls are praised. But honestly, numbers are facts. Between groups of this generation, TWICE are leading both in physicals and digitals, despite some people always saying that they aren't. (or trying to attack their music/skills when it has nothing to do with sales LOL.) well whatever, your hate doesn't change facts and numbers... Gfriend has 2 hits. and please tell me how is Like OOH-AHH not a hit... 1 million+ digitals sales, still charting high after 6 months, almost 70,000 physical sales, high streaming (on Melon), 80,000 likes on Melon, 50 million views for the Mv (almost 60 million now), song airing everywhere in Korea (confirmed by koreans or people who visited Korea), the girls rising to fame thanks to the song, other celebrities covering the song, a big senior in the industry (singer) doing a rock version of the song, etc. this is the definition of a hit LOL.
