IOI member have a contract of a year after debut with Mnet, right? so Somi will be on IOI til May 2017. She may release a single by the end of the year, and promote on year-ending shows. JYP most probably debut the new gg in late 2018 or early 2019, and b4 the next gg debut JYP will create a hyper for their debut, what means Somi will be on screen for a long time. Mnet can get her a position as MC on MCountdown or invite her for some variety shows on the channel. If IOI was a success the group can also have their contracts extended for some more months.
