ETB5 4,512
Here, people greet each other with a kiss on the cheek. It's not literally a kiss, though, it's more like people make contact with their cheeks and make a kissing sound. Like this: Anyway, would you think it was weird if somebody of the opposite sex (in my case, a girl) constantly greeted you by literally kissing your cheek with their lips?? Like this: Lol, jk, like this:

Bom 2,161
The greeting thing is fine but I don't like being kissed. It'd make me so uncomfortable.
Laamaa 7,510
Idk, it happens a lot here. I don't really find it uncomfortable, but I always prefer hugs.

mon chan 4,645
it's ok if they really have that habit to anyone that they feel close. Otherwise if they only do so to only 1 (special) person, I bet there's smt going on between them.
Dolores Haze 3,663
the first one is kinda weird for me actually, i just don't get it. for the second one, i'm okay as long as it's just a slight kiss on my cheek. i have touching problem with strangers so it'd be best if they just give a slight hug without kissing anything lol. Sully 4,318
I would find either version awkward. I don't like having other people's faces that close to my face.
RedVelvetTrash 484
I would be taken aback by it. No one but female relatives greet me like that lol. I don't find it weird tho.
Lynx 1,212
With my friends is always like the first one and with my family is like the second one . To say the truth I don't kiss my family I just "let" them kiss me in the cheeck and my sister hates me for it and keeps saying me that one day she will stop kissing me if I don't kiss her too ahaha
배추파드 2,889
This is such common where I live that it's kinda automatic to kiss/"make cheek contact" with other ppl while greeting. In some states here though ppl greet with more than one kiss - like one on the left cheek and one on the right. And also a lot of hugs too. I don't see it as a problem, although I understand the culture differences and I'm pretty sure it's just because I got used to it.
Gyujin 1,545
People don't really do that where I live, so I'd definitely be caught by surprise. I wouldn't be mad or anything, though.
