For which will do better I honestly don't know because Hwarang has Park Seo Jun and Go Ara while Moon Lovers has Lee Jun Ki and IU.

So excited for both!! In the end, whichever drama has the better storyline will be more successful. 

 

As for hype, I think Moon lovers has more because of the star power of the cast as a whole (Kang Ha Neul, Jisoo, Nam Joo Hyuk are especially trending right now because of their recent projects) + the backing of Universal.
