Well, as far as I've seen the groups who have done this are either pretty new-ish groups or they were already not going anywhere to begin with because of lack of money and exposure. Since this seems to be more about monetary support for groups from companies that don't have the money yet to push out certain things, I don't think this project can be used an indication of the future success of a group. If I recall correctly Mixx is run by a Chinese Media company? If thats the case I'm not surprised. nothing would be off limits imho. (and for those who want to get upset about that comment, its not a dig at China, but you have to realize business practices, norms, taboos vary depending on if its a korean, japanese, chinese, or western company). basically anything this group does, that is pushed by their agency, i'd be like, im not surprised they did that. totally-seopies 1,786 Posted February 22, 2017 Author Share Posted February 22, 2017 Idk if Makestar sets these things or the individual companies do it, but some people (including me) wish there is an option to give more than .90 cents but get something that doesn't require shipping (like a $10 option or something) since the shipping price is high enough that it makes it not worth it for just the signed CD, but also the other options are super expensive. And even then apparently Makestar isn't that trustworthy since there was a Berry Good incident with their polaroids which they made Berry Good apologize for instead of taking care of their own responsibility so I'm a bit worried and hope there are no mishaps. WTH???? even if the company pays half, and fans pay half, the company doesn't have 8k$???? i can't believe it. i wish i had done the April calendar though hahaha. again april doesnt have the funds to do a freaking calendar? This is really weird to me... because I have $4000 dollars saved up. So I can't imagine their company not having that much. They should have set the goal higher like $10k. Therefore, it would be at best to discontinue the Makestar's Mini Album Project." I wonder what happened. How long are we going to have to wait now.
