Ladies can you accept or date a beta or Omega's man

So my brother been saying I'm actually sixty to seventy prevent chance of being a beta. We were talking and we came across the topic. So I was wondering if any one actually would accept a beta or even an omega into their love life or should we all just learn to be alphas?

For those that don't know

A beta is

are passive or passive-aggressive. They will often take insults or criticism lying down. They may tell a woman everything is “fine†when it is not, or let their boss crap on them at work, but when they get alone, things change.

Follower Mentality

Beta males are usually the followers of society. They’re definitely not the top dogs in the social hierarchies. It probably relates to the previous point. Positions of power aren’t typically filled by guys who don’t seek them. Beta males don’t aggressively seek power so they rarely find it.

Beta Male Characteristics

Prototypical Nice Guy

But, that nice guy image doesn’t always hold because sometimes the passivity can turn to anger and passive-aggressiveness. In fact, if you reject a beta male, sometimes he will suddenly go from being a “nice guy†to a total jerk in a matter of seconds.

Beta males usually don’t understand the rules of the game. They overly compliment women, befriend them in the hopes of “more,†attempt to buy their love through gifts, etc. Then, they typically whine that women “only want jerks.â€

Needy

Beta males are often needy. Since beta males receive less attention from women and other men, they can often be desperate for attention. They can become very attached to the idea of having a girlfriend and especially their actual girlfriends.

Weak And Goofy

A lot of beta males look weak and goofy. They lack masculine facial characteristics, and their body language projects weakness versus strength.

While omega are

They typically lack drive to succeed in mainstream ways and have few social skills. An omega male often doesn’t know the line between appropriate and inappropriate or ignores it.

In fact, the word creepy is often used of omega males. They can’t pick up when someone is getting uncomfortable with them, and they don’t know how to adjust their approach to others, so they may violate body space, stare excessively, and so forth.

Omega males don’t inspire. They’re not always polite. In many cases, they actually scare people (even if they don’t mean to)!

In general an omega male has fringe interests, and even inappropriate (for polite society) fetishes. An omega male will usually dress or present in a way that isn’t mainstream, but not in a good way. He may see himself as a dashing rebel, while others perceive him as a creepy weirdo.

Typically, he will draw attention to himself in ways that tell others he’s different. Often his “style†of dress isn’t even intentional, and may manifest itself as ratty They often brag about being intellectually superior to others (even though this increases their social inferiority), resulting in even more social isolation, even as the Omega digs in his heels, asserting how great he is.

Omega males are often associated with things like video games, anime, and media like Star Wars (whether fairly or unfairly). However, that’s probably because those represent complex fantasy universes that an omega male can escape into to avoid having to confront reality. That’s why the average person can enjoy Star Wars and think the bounty hunter is cool, but an omega may actually come to believe he is similar to the Bounty Hunter, and even dress like him in public (and then act shocked when he gets weird looks).

There are typically two types of omega male. The first is the “lovable loser†type. He is weird and maybe a little creepy, but harmless. Women may not be lining up to date him, but he can still get some dates and can be a nice guy, except when he crosses a social line (which happens at times).

Never heard of an omega male. The whole beta/alpha/omega male thing is silly anyway. I honestly don't know anyone who takes the whole alpha/beta male thing seriously that isn't an ill mannered/tempered dick.

the whole dynamic should belong only in fanfics lol

I'd like to know why OH users *mainly the male ones* are asking this question over and over again.. you guys do know they are guys who act timid as fuck on the streets but tear that pussy up in the sheets and have your ass walking side ways the next morning right?

I think this thing about labeling yourself as beta or alpha is dumb. I'm sorry if that sounds rude but idk, I think you're too focused on labeling yourself and fitting yourself into a box more than anything. It'll only bring in more insecurity. Most people do swing one way more than the other, but nobody is black and white. This is going to sound mean and dismiss everything you said, but tbh all the girls I've met laugh at the whole beta vs alpha male thing. Nobody I personally know takes it seriously, males included. It's more of a broculture mentality that I never see in person but only on the internet. And everyone is different - what one girl likes, another one won't. You can't lump us all together just as much as you can't lump yourself into one thing. I think confidence is nice which any "type" of person can have, not just "alpha" types or whatever. A lot of self-proclaimed betas lack that (along with anyone who needs to fit a label to feel assured) so it's not a matter of labels but a lot of other factors instead.

TL;DR: Everyone's different and has different preferences. No need to fit into a box or take ourselves so seriously sometimes.

these things fit about as well as zodiac signs and other similar nonsense. people legit believe in these things and probably end up acting more like the description because they've convinced themselves that they fit.

Thanks you for the reality check. Most of the time some people (like myself) worry a bit too much about others thoughts that makes me lose motivation for many things :(

do people really use this betaa/omega/alpha stuff outside the internet

The fact my brother brought it up during our convoy. I'm not even sure /:

I don't even know something like this exist, how did you know any of this ? in school ?

Younger brother told me. I just talk to him and he brought up the convoy. Just been bugging my brain.

Just by reading the description I can see my self being happy with an omega. Relationship with a beta will require a lot of work on both sides, but if we both commit to it then why not.

But importantly, forget boxes and labels just be you.

  • 4 weeks later...

all those alphas beta and omega shits are annoying af

how about just being yourself and dating someone that fits you without having to put yourself in some dumb downgrading category

there are options other than being a sexist prick, a butthurt friendzoned or a creepy mofo

I didn't think this is a thing outside fanfiction. I'm sad to see it apparently is?

To answer the question.. no, I don't date passive-aggressive people, nor do I date people without ambition and I'm usually told I'm too independent anyway so someone needy and clingy would step on my tail way too often.
