This is so late but I just found this thread (I still think this drama deserved more love though ; n ;)

But if anything, I love how this roco drama is written? The theories as to the suspense element was actually something that has been discussed before in psychology/philosphy, which I think is an interesting addition to spice things up. It probably would have done great without, but it's amazing how the details added together, including some sort of chemistry between Sookyung and Jinsang early in the episodes, to how Eric met Haeyoung once before he got her a nosebleed, which if you want, can view it as the start of his 'deja vu' moments with his visions.

I also think the characters of the stories are very well written? Everyone is not flawless, and not everyone is to be blamed. I don't understand some of the characters' actions at first, including Dokyung ramming into Taejin's car, but after a while, I do. It's cause he truly fell for her even though he thought he was the one who put her through that state, not that I think it's right for anyone to go ramming cars out of anger. But then as he said, he was willing to get beated up by Taejin (and even throughout the 2nd half of the series) if only he could land just one punch on him - for OHY2.

As for OHY2, I never found her to be clingy. Sure, she couldn't get over him, but only a few days had passed when Dokyung walked away from her. She never begged him to stay, only having taken her frustration at him at the scene where they meet up after the revelation that he was 'part of' the reason to why she was dumped by her fiance. So when Dokyung finally confessed to her his true feelings (and brownie points for not being the cheesy 'I love you' but his true, direct thoughts), she decidedly to go ahead rational thoughts and be with him. Dokyung did say 'I'd ruin your wedding again if I have to,' but at the end, he gave yet another sincere apology for his outburst and his mistakes.

In fact throughout, he's been nothing but sorry, and he even wanted to tell her first before Taejin, but life is always about timing (as do roco dramas).

As for Dokyung's mom, sure she's selfish and almost crazy, but it's evident that she cared a lot about Dokyung. Maybe it's cause he earns a lot and gives her a lot, but Dokyung is her line that she doesn't allow anyone to cross. There's no explanation as to why - perhaps she just is hard to predict. Perhaps she is truly sorry for feeling like a shit mom as Dokyung had to go through that traumatizing experience of losing his dad at that young age. Even when she married Hoon's dad, it was suggested (by Hoon) that it's possible that she picked someone with the same 'Park' surname just so her kids are not thought to be from different families. (Which makes sense to me because if you say she's selfish, she herself perhaps just doesn't want to seem 'frivilous'; though, it could also be because she sorta care for her own kids, Dokyung and Sookyung.)

Brownies points of the day goes to OHY2's mom tho. She's like, the hero supporting cast in this drama. In mandarin we have the saying that 'when you got beaten, it's love; when you got scolded, it's doting' for parents scolding or whacking their child as part of our strict disciplinary culture. She might have giving her daughter a whack on the back of her head and scolded her for her ways, she's always the one to come to OHY2's defenses, making sidedishes and meals with her for Dokyung cause she knew her daughter is deeply in love. In fact, asking her to stay away from Dokyung was because she didn't want her to get hurt, after seeing what she went through with Taejin. It's just a very sincere sort of care and love for her daughter in an 'action speaks louder than word' ways.

The hospital scene was also so epic, and ties things up perfectly to the wedding ;u  ;

I can ramble on forever but I shall stop haha, I just love love love this drama (despite the slight draggy ness in ep 14-16) but the characters and plots and filmography made up for it. ; u ;
