Athena 21,718 Posted November 20, 2013 Share Posted November 20, 2013 My school district was like in uproar yesterday because of a stabbing. It wasn't during school hours either. Basically the middle school and high school are right across from each other. Us high schoolers get out 30 minutes, before the middle schoolers. So yesterday 15 minutes after the middle schoolers got out there was a stabbing. It was by the Subway restaurant within walking distance from the schools. It turns out that it was an 8th grader that got stabbed by another 8th grader in the leg and in the back three times. There were rumors that it was used for self-defense or that they 8th grader was bullying the other. Also there was another one in the high school last year. Two girls got into a cat fight, the security guards were standing there doing nothing, and our 85 years old principal ended up jumping in to stop the fighting and he ended up breaking his leg. The person who recorded the fight got expelled, while the other person who recorded it got away. Do you have any stories of school violence like this? Most intense thing I've heard of was probably when I was in middle school and two kids started throwing punches over who'd get to have the bounciest basketball. The man came home and saw the student, and the student killed him. I don't remember if it was a gun or a knife, but I know it was a head wound...and the worst part is, my dad could see how unhinged the kid was, so maybe it could have been stopped... I don't think you understand how white I am 97% of the town I live in is white, I'm pretty sure there is probably more mixed kids in my school than "pure" black and asian people and I wasn't being entirely serious when I wrote that, I understand violence happens everywhere, a fight happend in my school too, but it didn't involve knives just a bit of hair pulling Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I grew up hearing the stories about nuns hitting him with rulers. Considered myself lucky my teachers just yelled. And my was more directed at the attitude that a white school is somehow safe. My friend smashed this guys head agaisnt the door and they both got expelled :/ 2 girls were fighting and a preggo teacher tried to stop them, but one of the girls kicked her belly and the teacher's husband punched the girl in the face lmao And in powderpuff, there was a misunderstanding about what grade got to use the field that day for practice, so both the juniors and freshmen girls showed up and they started fighting... thank gosh I missed practice that day But now I heard the school is really strict... there are barely any fights now Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I didn't have nuns in my school, but my dad went to one that did by that time though they weren't allowed to hit kids with rulers by then so they pulled their ears. I realize there can be violence in white areas too, I'm pretty sure my state has the highest, or one of the highest, amount of serial killers to come out of a state.
