But the way how 2k16 started mostly with many groups/solo/rookies achieving PAK so suddenly makes me personally feel that having PAK is longer an amazing thing and that this achievement has diminished considerably. Instiz used to count a lot more charts such as Cyworld or Daum which weren't popular and fluctuated A LOT so it was harder to achieve a PAK. They were removed last year by instiz. My problem is that I always felt like groups/singers who got PAK in the past got it with legendary songs which were widely recognized. Nowadays I just feel the hype but not the bops. To be fair, I wouldn't say getting a PAK is an easy feat. The people who get them are groups with loads of hype, and this happens to be the popular rookies such as Twice, GFriend, and Mamamoo. It doesn't mean PAKs aren't unvaluable, it means these rookies are doing a damn good job. It took Mamamoo two years to get a PAK and a music show win, GFriend one year, and Twice 7 months. They also came back in the "dead zones" so it would be easier to get those wins, instead of trying to fight everybody and their mothers with a summer comeback. There have been plenty of songs that weren't close to getting an AK but ended up high on the yearly charts simply because of longevity. His/Her reps should give you a clue. It seems like some of the Myungsoo stans on OH are just plain trolls. Some of them don't even stan Infinite. So I doubt they'd know much about the group.
