This past week I've recently been struck by the Babymetal bug and have been completely enamored by this band!

THEY'RE FUCKING AMAZING!!!

 

And they've been doing this for more than 5 years now too and have toured around the world, so they're the real deal!

 

I have never liked Metal or Rock music prior to this, so this is quite a surprise that I've fallen for this group. Maybe perhaps the Pop vocals can lend to that, but a lot of well respected metal/rock bands have given their graces and respect to Babymetal as well so that's just amazing!

 

I've just downloaded both of their studio albums and they're godly! Their songs gets you pumped up and energized!!! They have now become my favorite 'rock' band and I wanna see them live so bad!!

people told me to listen to their music and i still feel the same way

I mean, that's understandable...I felt the same way in the beginning as well. But these girls have been doing this for more than 5+ years so one thing's for sure, they're dedicated to it and I respect that. You should give them a chance on your own terms :)

Pop + Rock is such an unusual combo, but it works with this group! And hearing people say how they're so amazing live just makes me want to see them perform that much more lol

 

 

I got into them recently too, I like what they do.

The two youngest will be 17 this summer and the oldest is already 18, so get out!

And why should age factor in when listening to someone's music? If the music attracts you, then you can look far beyond just the visual concept they have.

Yui and Moa are both 16 (will be 17 soon) and Su (the lead singer) is 18 (19 this year)

Wow they're young. They have nice voices for their age.

If they had more songs like the one you showed me, I think I would become a fan

The group is a bit eclectic with their genre as a matter of fact. Their base and groundwork is mainly metal/rock, but they do branch out from time to time.

 

Like this song has a bit of rap

 

 

and one of their new song "From Dusk Til Dawn" has Electronic influences

Have you seen them live already?

 

They're touring all over the east coast this May, ugh wish I could see them

 

Nope not yet, i have been traveling a lot here in Asia due to work. Maybe if i drop by Japan or US and if they have concert there at that time.
