Hyooga 10,307 Posted May 1, 2016 Share Posted May 1, 2016 I just noticed that it's the younger kpop fans/those who entered kpop post 2007 who seem very rigid in their belief that a DB5K is impossible while the older fans who followed the five boys seem to 'keep the faith' more despite it being almost a decade since the split like for me as someone who got into dbsk in their peak, i saw how genuine the boys bonded...their brotherhood is such a rarity in kpop that when the split happened all the 'conflicts' really made sense. you know how conflicts with people you legit care about cuts more deep than say, a mere colleague or acquaintance? anyone who followed them in their peak will know how much the boys REALLY cared for each other not just out of personal interest (they were truly brothers, not just because work called them to do so and teamwork was needed to keep things harmonious) it is also because of this bond why i personally feel they will definitely reconcile in the years to come and bless us all with their wonderful musical performances as five again. they may not reunite permanently but my faith isn't wavering that it is possible.... But I do think there is a small possibility of a reunion concert. idk if that's the delusion in me talking though But when it comes to the 5 of them, I don't think there's any bad blood. At most, I can see a collab for old time sakes for some event maybe 10 years down the road but a full reunion is pretty impossible. Both groups have grown very differently since the split. I don't see them being able to work as one any more. Also, I like to point out Always Keep the Faith has nothing to do with DBSK. It's Park brothers' life motto which was adopted by JaeJoong as well. It means that they will always believe in themselves no matter the circumstances. Yoohwan has the tattoo as well. Fandom just adopted the phrase and made it about the split and the possible reunion. Even if ever they want do a reunion concert or comeback together, it will be difficult for them not because of SM/C-Jes but because of "some fans" who love to think that they hate each others. If these fans can't accept that DBSK isn't in bad blood each others even after they said like one million times it, how do you think that they could back together? So, these "fans" are the biggest problem. ---- Btw, SM have rights on TVXQ's songs so it will be difficult to them to sing their songs (12 years of songs!) without SM permission. It is more to actually seeing them getting caught having beers together, all 5 of them at some random bar kinda situation. That's all I want. They became so different in their music styles. It is not impossible but very very unlikely coming together again as one group. I feel all the time they spent apart doing different genres and sounds will have a positive effect when they do a reunion perf. This means 5 people who are at least twice as good as they used to be....this tremendously raises the talent/skills average of the group as a whole which will only result to legendary live perfs. Anyway, as a post-split jaejoong/jyj fan, I very much like things the way they are. That being said, if they agree on a reunion and it's jaejoong's choice and they make music I enjoy plus jaejoong gets to keep his solo career, I'll be all for it. Realistically, I think reforming the group is highly impossible, and both sides seem very happy with the way things have turned out, from what I've seen. It will definitely be nice to see them together again as friends since I'm one of the people who believe that their friendship was genuine but shit just happened, as it sometimes does in all friendships. Because one group is under SME and the other group will most likely rather boil in oil than have anything to do with SME. It's not entirely beyond the realm of possibility and if there's going to be any kind of reunion, that will probably be the most OT5s will get. I guess we'll just have to wait and see and those who want to keep the faith should keep the faith, I'm sure sechskies adjummah's never thought this would happen for them.
