Sofs 13,968 Posted March 7, 2019 Author Share Posted March 7, 2019 i think it helps that that b-side was borderline more popular with the korean public than fingertip...i don't have a link but there were tweets/screenshots of top korean youtube searches and the HTWS lyric video was top or maybe 2nd..not that koreans are super into spotify but maybe east asian/SE asian audiences prefer that b-side in general justice for more of these lit af bops On Melon HTWS has almost the same likes as Rainbow and way less than Fingertip. The truth is that HTWS was released before Rainbow and it fits more the international audience taste, i think. Many says it's Gfriend best b-side. Sofs 13,968 Posted April 3, 2019 Author Share Posted April 3, 2019 Yeah Sadly, I have my doubts. Sunrise needs 3 more weeks to surpass LW and 4 more weeks to surpass FT. It has been falling over 10 spots on GAON for few weeks now, I think it can stay there for 2 more weeks at least. As for Melon, I doubt specially because it stopped charting on their daily chart today and because groups are having a comeback that has and will have b-sides charting so yeah.. Unless there’s a miracle, there’s a big chance that Sunrise will drop from GAON and Melon next week. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I kinda consider it medium sized hit tho. Sunrise didn't peak high on Melon weekly, for example, like the previous tracks (not counting SR) but it stayed on the same spot for 3 weeks and then started falling hard but it became stable in the past weeks when FT and LW and even SS were falling almost nonstop. I think what messed up with their weekly charting is actually the recent comebacks. C*hen and BBL*4 have b-sides charting which pushed down Sunrise and now B*P and BT*S are coming and their b-sides will push other songs down. If it wasn't for the recent comebacks, Sunrise would still be around 80-90 and catch LW and FT so yeah, I think it's mostly because of the competition.
