As you probably know they have this points system to complete the pentagram. 5 points each for 5 different categories namely: Talent, Vocal/Rap, Dance, Teamwork, Mind. They started off with an initial evaluation right when the show started so members have different points to start with. Once they complete the pentagram or basically have a total of 25 points, they are "confirmed" as a member of Pentagon.

 

With that said, the show releases online videos every week. So far, they release individual member videos and another team/unit one corresponding a different category in the pentagram. Whichever person/team gets the highest cumulative views/likes on Naver (emphasis on that coz Youtube views don't count) for each individual and team category will get the point.

 

For the 1st week, it was only their teaser videos which Jinho won. On the 2nd week, the first team battle happened and Sorry won as well as Jinho's talent video. So far, Jinho has won all categories and has actually gotten 4 points already which ended up with him at #1 with 21 points. He's just 4 points away now for a confirmed spot in the group.

 

I hope that wasn't confusing.

 

This is how the current pentagram ranking look like as of yesterday.

 

 

For this week, there's the 3 teams competing for the teamwork points and individual ones with different categories depending on the mission (mind or talent).

i really do hope they got rid of the 'member tthat is last 2 weeks in a row is deducted a point' idea afterall...poor yuto feeling unpopular. not simply for the sake of no one losing points, i also wish yuto could rank higher this week, even if they got rid of the -1 point rule. for sake of yuto feeling better.
 
i swear Wooseok fans got some magic b/c when i look yesterday or before his video least or 2nd least view now its most view along with Hongseok, Kino..they're all at 6k view already...5k Jinho,Changgu, 4k Hui, 3k Shinwon, 2k Yuto, 1k+ Yan An, Hyojong. Hyojong less popular that I assumed he would be really. Last week Wooseok I thought would be lower rank then views came out of no where and he was #2 views after Changgu until Jinho rise to #1 in view by the end...he has lowest likes as of rn though.
 
I wished they would give a point this week to each category
1. Mind
Shinwon Yeo One Jinho Yan An Wooseok

2. Talent
Hui Yuto Kino

3. Teamwork
Hongseok E'Dawn

 

It'd make it easier on us Pentastans filling their chart...but I have a feeling it would just be overall

 

I personally wouldnt mind if Jinho won again really...I love his video for him with Kino and Changgu...especially for the Pinkagon (Pink Pentagon) with Kino and Changgu dancing/singing Hot Pink. Idk which video ismy favorite though. I really like Hyojongs...and Changgu;s

im pretty sure Cube will have plans to have Pentagon build an international fanbase, and YT is a great tool to do that~ 

 

i know right! dang, the point system -- i thought it was only like one pt overall, but jinho gained like three pts, right? after the last round. he and kino are gonna be done with the pentagraph very soon~

He will be an official member of Pentagon immediately  (So he'll definitely debut) So maybe they'll still give him missions like helping the other members or so^^

I watched it live but my net was too slow >< I have yet to properly replay it. I watched for 10 mins last night but it crashed then I have yet to watch the rest.

Yeah it can be confusing sometimes. Jinho is a great stan attractor. He's just so cute and good looking. Fake maknae indeed.

 

As far as him speaking english, he seem to have the best english pronunciation in the group when singing so maybe? Hongseok is in charge with English tho but then they had Kino be in charge of Japanese when they have Yuto. LOL

Ep 1 just aired on tv last night, for now there's only clips by Mnets and I doubt they will air the whole episode unless the fanbases pick it up. For now, you can watch the subbed clips on yt channel like pentagon kino, pentagon live, etc.

Jino was his stage name when he was in SM the ballad. Jinho is what I usually see people use now which is his real name. If you see someone use Jino, that person most likely knew him from his SM days. Both are legit but since he no longer is in SM, Jinho should be more appropriate to use now.

So it won't be detected and deleted. Some of the videos subbed have already been deleted due to copyright reasons by the Cj n mnet. Best bet is to follow the subbers on their youtube or twitter so you'll know when new sub is out.
