Why you should give GFRIEND a chance

Because regardless of what you see on OH or elsewhere, regardless of the fanfights you see, or comments you see translated and that could put you off. You shouldn't let if forge your opinion on the group. To be very honest, Buddies have being on edge these days, suffering attacks and responding but any fandom would to if all your achievements were downplayed like Gfriends are. But, this fandom drama shouldn't get in the way of you discovering this awesome group. I'll share my story.

 

Gfriend is a group of 6 hard working girls, I knew it before stanning them so even tho I go to NB a lot and I've seen a lot of bad articles about them, I knew they'd do good because of their great music and dance without bothering to check them out more. One day tho, I watched their weekly idol, which led me to another weekly idol and then another until I ended up checking all their variety and realised I was slowly liking them more and more. They're really funny, some of them are extra, others weird, others awkward, others too cute to handle. Then I checked their music in depth, wow I liked it, and their live performances are always up there. Yuju and Euhna's vocals + how hard the others are working to improve theirs.

 

I'm still discovering them everyday, watching them grow, cry, win, lose. As a Buddy, it hurts me seeing them getting hate when Ik they don't deserve it and they're too young not to be affected by it. So, I wish you'd check them out, there is nothing to lose and see what we see, and how special they are. You don't have to stan, but you'll understand why we like them so much, I hope you give them a chance.

the hate is the result of them being popular. don't misunderstand and think they don't have many fans. they made it. "it" has yet to be fully defined by gfriend but they made it a hell of a lot father than most groups ever will. enjoy being a buddy, because i sure do. the haters are jealous that me gustas tu is still charting pretty damn high for a song that came out almost a calendar year ago, just laugh it and be proud of the girls

That's a sweet thread. But of all of the things you've listed, only fans will understand and keep up with them. What the others only know are their songs or articles (be it good or bad), it could be hard for them to like the girls because every people have different taste in music

 

 

But I fervently hope people would respect Gfriend, they haven't done anything against any individual ^^

Definitely agree with ignoring Nbuzzard's attempts to degrade female idols.

 

Does seem like a cool group. I'm warming up to them for sure, but haven't put my money where my mouth is...yet....

 

I think what would help is linking to some good Twitter accounts for them, some good Youtbe channels for their variety (preferably English Sub), etc.

you're right ,before that i love Gfriend don't like them,I not had a reason but i hated them , but one day (a good day) i heard their song ,i dont knew that were of them,i loved this song

when i knew who are the singers,was the same i dont like them ,but little by little they catched my heart , so slowly  that i not noticed .
