What type of fans do you dislike?

I dislike the type of fans who try to come for me, but don't even buy their groups merch.

trying (but failing) to drag me isn't helping your fave, sis.

don't come for me when u illegally download.

I also don't like the type who call u a fake fan when all they've done is give their fave a youtube view.

The fans that always run to the chart and sales when debating about their faves.

Basically fans that think that good album or song sales = talented and better than everyone else.

Fans that hate on a group because of the fans.

Fans that constantly make comparison threads and instead of comparing the talents or personalities , they compare the group's place on the charts compared to the other. (Basically what I said before)

Kind of the same. I hate the I-fans that go on about Koreans having "bad taste" and whining about their fave failing when they never bought one album or spent a bit of money on a song or don't stream. They don't know that they're apart of the problem, too.

ye I'm really not about fan elitism otherwise but people who seem to be protective and dedicated stans but haven't bought any merch or albums make me go "???" what do you think companies prepare groups for dedicated fanbases for, just for show? lord

refreshing and watching the mv nonstop might help with getting show wins, but shows are really only there for groups to get coverage. If anything, you're just putting a bit of money for LOEN for the day (and maybe a small bit for the company, which may or may not actually go into fund for your faves) since they host like 60% of the kpop mvs now lmao

The ones who only care about popularity. My favorite k-pop group is 2NE1--not because they're popular--but because I really like their music. I discovered them back in 2010 while surfing YouTube. At the time, I didn't know anything about the genre.

Now some people just "STAN" groups because they're popular. Like, they'll start following trainees from big companies because they know that they'll be successful. Most of the time, these are the same people who diss "Nugu" groups. It's like they don't even care about the music. Just looks and popularity. It's some high school shit, man.

And they put the famous idols on a pedestal like they're better than the unknown ones. When that isn't true--all of them had to work hard just to debut. And some of the lesser known ones are more talented than the famous ones. All of them deserve our respect.

There's nothing wrong with liking a popular group, but make sure it's for the right reasons. Don't be a fucking lemming.

Akgae fans who are always throwing shade to other members of the group. I don't mind individual stans, you can support your bias as much as you want. I just can't handle you dissing and shading the other members in the group.

I also can't stand fans who brag about their faves accomplishments just to bring down other groups'. AND FANS WHO MAKE COMPARISON THREADS PLZ STOP!!!

The comparisons suck, but k-pop is super competitive by design. The poor idols are constantly being pitted against each other. Trainee days is one big brawl, and the battle gets worse when they debut.
