I'm so glad this thread exists..SooMin is so talented and she already has a fanbase, why is no one signing her up already T_T I wish she'll get signed up and debut in a girl group where she can freely

I reaalllyy hope she's gonna get more air time in MixNine, but i have a feeling they're gonna make Sujin get all the screentime 

I mean Sujin is the one they are pushing from Fave most so far,  the other big story line they showed was the ballad girl who didn't make it onto the bus. But even when Soomin sang the last line of Holiday they didn't show her. unsure.png Just got to hope that (YG's bias for her) and her talents gets her far enough that Soomin can have a break out performance. Behind the scenes we can see she seems to have a good amount of pre-show popularity, it just will stand to be seen how that will translate as the show goes on. But Soomin deserves one of the top spots, she is so solid.

The full version of the Fave Girl's singing Holiday for their audition, Soomin really slayed it, I wish they had shown her more in the main part of the show. Her voice is always so clear and distinctive, and she killed the high notes she got, I love her so much!!

 

 

 

Holy Sh*t she absolutely killed it there, just unbelievably good!!! Soomin sang ALL of the high notes, and her quasi-whistle tone is just so clear and pretty! I'm going to start another thread just to point this out, she can NOT be ignored!!!! Can't believe I just knew about her being on Mixnine now, they did a pretty good job of not showing her -_-

She's put in soooo much effort already she deserves all the support, i'm so glad she went on KPOP star 6. This is becoming really similar to p101, but yeah i hope people won't stray from voting for her. Now just wishing she'd team up w the badass Sarada and kick some ass lmao

Oh God she can speak flawless English and Chinese is there more to love about this girl? I wish someone would debut already so she could already go on shows T__T  I honestly don't want her to debut with YG's shitty MixNine but please!! Let her shine already!!!

Soomin appears briefly but in crucial moments of [JUST DANCE] Girls' version making-of video.

 

See 1:25 and at 2:32 of the video :  Soomin is the only girl whose live vocals of "Just Dance" is showcased and she is

 

the last girl shown before the live performance of JD(Girls' version) plays.

 

 

 

 

Hopefully it means Soomin's beautiful vocal tone and her singing technique made a deep impression on the judges

 

and PD and they will showcase her vocals during tomorrow's episode 3 telecast of Mixnine.

I wonder what this means.

 

It may hint at a one vs one solo performance face-off between Soomin and JYP's Ryujin which was too close to call.

 

It may be dangerous for Soomin in two ways :

 

1) Soomin won and now she'll catch unwarranted hate from Ryujin's massive fanbase for making Ryujin look bad.

 

2) Soomin lost and now she'll forever be known as the trainee who lost to Ryujin since Ryujin seems to have captured

 

the public's attention.

 

I was hoping for Soomin to lie low and fly under the radar until the last few episodes when she suddenly emerges

 

as a dark horse and charges into the final 9.

 

Being thrust into the public limelight so early may not be so good for her chances.

What's even more impressive is looking at the top 9 :

 

 

Soomin is not from a Big 3 entertainment company (Ryujin),

 

She hardly got any screentime or sob story or underdog story arc (Kim Sori, Choi Moonhee,Lee Hyangsook, Loona girls),

 

She's not from an already debuted somewhat popular group with a pre-existing fanbase ( Dreamcatcher and Loona girls,Choi Moonhee from Bonusbaby).

 

Some argue she has popularity from PD101 but then why is she the only ex-PD101 girl in the Top 9?

 

 

Us Soomin fans already know her capabilities and charms ---- let's hope JTBC gives Soomin more screentime to

 

display her vocals, charisma and dance skills to the rest of the un-initiated voting public.
