Shouldn't kpop fans be more grateful?

I'm listening to this glory that was bestowed upon the Earth by Jesus Christ himself, and I'm quite surprised at the comments.

Although Beyonce sings every major part + the chorus melody, many fans of the group are simply happy they can actually hear Latavia and Letoya in the harmonies.

Maybe k-pop fans should be more like that. At least they have lines at all. They could be like PCD.

To be honest, I feel like many k-pop songs would be better if only the better singers, sang it.

Eeeh I like when all the idols get their parts... it doesn't always have to be equally distributed but it always annoyed me for groups like NSYNC for example only Justin and JC got singing parts I mean what's the point for the other guys to even be there if they're not going to sing too? I like how kpop they let everyone sing.

IMO, i prefer group like exile, jsb, or e-girls when only "Good" singer who sing, and the others just dancing. For me, music is primary for ear (because i often to play CD/mp3 and rarely watch mv), Visual is just bonus (so dancing, pretty face, is secondary to me). So i don't want my listening pleasure being distraction by voice/lines/rap from idol who can't sing or can't rap. they better to stick to what they good at, like dancing or act pretty.

i hope my SNSD can try this things and just leave the vocal to the vocal line only.

well, in J-pop u got exile, JSB, generations, flower, happiness, and other LDH group that they only have 2 vocalist in each group and the rest is just performer (member usually from 5-14 people LOL). their producer named Hiro create this kind of group because they know the important of dancing and let people who good at dancing to shine on stage. their member admit that they not good at sing and just have passion in dancing. they know that is better that people who sing are the one who good at it, rather that forcing everyone else who not good at singing to sing just for the sake of "Equal Distribution".

the "real" problem is not in how company managed distribution lines, or big Gap in talent/skill between member who can sing and can't sing. the real problem is that so many people only think that voice is the only talent, and dancing is irrelevant.

guest what, that most of LDH group, the most popular member actually the dancer (who never get any lines/sing).

NSYNC and BSB actually had multi-part harmonies, though.  It was like tenor1-tenor2-tenor2-baritone-bass for NSYNC.  It's not like kpop groups where there aren't that many harmonies and most voices don't sound significantly different in weight or whatever anyway.  I dunno about DC.

Yep, like different culture and standard between western and kpop, in western is usual for boyband only have 1-2 vocalist and rest just backing vocal (boyzone, 311, 98° for example), in 90 era, most of boyband only 1-2 people who get lots line and the rest is barely get lines or just harmonising. In japan u got group with just 2 vocal rest is dancer)

But in kpop, there are no harmony because idol just using backing tracks in chorus, and the singer just mime. And in kpop fans only care about solo line, (and screen time) not harmonies, vocal structure, dance break, etc. In kpop, people birch when they fave only get 2-3 lines, while its just norm in west
