160425 Lin Geng Xin's Sohu interview mentioned YoonA

Recommended Posts

I would have liked him, (he seems like a chill guy and super sweet with Yoona) but the comment he made in the Tzuyu situation still pisses me off. I think they look cute together, and he's definitely got charms, but he's still an ass for fanning the flames against a 16 year old who didn't do anything wrong.

Its the way Taiwanese media framed it.

In Mainland China, ALL the news pretty much gets filtered through government agencies.

But in Taiwan, the news are not, they can be made up.

In this case, many mainland Chinese took Taiwanese news seriously and thought that Tzuyu was for pro independence when she was not.

The user talk about lin geng xin mocking tzuyu???? And he wrote the weibo himself, nothing to do with taiwanese media and China media

He wrote: apology comes too soon, don't have enough time to memorize the script. (Tears laughing emoticon)

There is no need for him as a public figure to shame a 16 y/o on public. None of the Chinese stars has done that no matter how nationalistic they are.

Lin Geng Xin is famous for being a punster, most of his weibo posts are puns intended so people taking his posts seriously i can only....  :)

beside, he is a Chinese, he is supporting his own Nation, nothing wrong though,

to international fans, this whole Tzuyu issue may be too blown up and Tzuyu is being framed (i think so too) but that's not what the Chinese media perceived it as, so you really can't blame a Chinese reading Chinese news and thinking this way too.

not like its a Korean who did that.

also, putting the whole issue aside, he is really just speaking the truth that she looked straight up memorizing from a script and isn't sincere in the apology (i know there is no need for her to apologize since she did nothing wrong, but you can't deny the fact the apology done doesn't look sincere with her holding a script)
