Really starting to doubt if the show can stand on it's own two feet without the books to fall back on...every change they've made has made the entire GoT world smaller and boring... One thing that I immediately caught before she stripped away her facade was that she was sitting by the fire, rubbing her hands together. She's cold. She's said in the past that she doesn't get cold, that the Lord of Light warms her from within. Thoros lost his faith before he was able to bring Beric back to life. Maybe Mel has lost her faith as well. Comments from randoms on reddit. Convinced that Melisandre is being set up to bring Jon back to life.
