blank_stare 2,217 Posted April 25, 2016 Share Posted April 25, 2016 What I think of her Lemonade (MV and Songs). I'm watching this as I type what I think. I like her Anger song; it's so fierce, full of anger, and madness, of her singing about her husband. I also like her country-ish song about her life of from rags to riches and the song in Resurrection. Now the song that I love the most is Emptiness. It is so seductive, oozes of sex and just the "I Don't Care" vibes. I like her video/scenic film than her songs though (except Emptiness) full of visuals even though it's black and white most of it. Reminds me some of those cult movie classics like Santa Sangre, Crow, and those Quentin Tarantino films. There was a scene where she's all by herself singing and composing her The plot is convoluted but the main topic is about female empowerment, the whole motherhood, being a wife, and the whole package thing of a female, from baby to an old woman, and what she went through all her life. Then the cycle continues, the daughter turns to a woman, becomes a wife then a mother, she grows old then withers away. I enjoyed everything but I really love her in between monologues and the song in Emptiness part. So anyone who've seen it, what do you what do you think of her "Lemonade."
