Honestly, yes, the movie itself is legendary. And the ending was perfect eneough with "The Girl" and Cha Tae Hyun's character meeting each other once again and holding hands under the table, it was the sweetest kind of ending because the mother of "The Girl" 's late boyfriend even wanted them to meet each other in the first place when they both still had no idea. I thought they will do the new version of the movie but they actually turned Jun Ji Hyun's character aka "The Girl" into a monk... come on "The Girl" is a weird one but it wasn't to that extent... I know she's early in her actress career and probably wanted the experience/exposure, but this whole sequel just screams dangerous, especially for an amateur. As movies go, I usually prefer the original over sequels. I also think the writers did a disservice to the original actress by making her character into a monk. I know in China that it will do well because Vic has her own loyal fan base but everywhere else I don't know how well it would be received. I will say one thing that, this being the first joint Korean-China production since the signing of the contract between the two governments that choosing Vic was a great idea. Vic considers Korea her second home and earlier (a year or two ago) she was some kind of entertainment ambassador between Korea and China so it was a logical move on the part of the producers. Since it's the first official joint venture since the signing, I hope they fans of the original won't judge Vic too harshly -- for Vic and My New Sassy Girl, fighting! As if there's anything we can do to stop it. Vic is my salvation to this so I hope this movie does well. Tbh tho, if Vic is not the lead, I will also complain. Will shut up until I saw it myself. This movie is called My New Sassy Girl 2 is mean that the story says that he met a different girl with a sassy attitude. I know the first movie is good but come on people should give Victoria some slack. She is trying her best at everything. People just go and see the movie and don't compare the old one to the new one just watch and enjoy it. She trying hard not to be compare but in the end there are lots of negative towards the movie and her. But in the world today people are so harsh and not understanding. If only people could give Victoria a chance to show how good she is. For me is does not matter what people says I will be there to support Victoria.
