I feel like holding grudges for too long is not good for your health and state of mind. hazee 801 Posted November 16, 2013 Share Posted November 16, 2013 If someone gets to the point where they don't know what they want but refuse to let go of someone despite the hurt cheating may cause them in the long run ... this "someone" has bigger issues beyond the superficial obvious. I have only been cheated on once and while I may have eventually gotten to the point where I forgave them, even though at the time I refused to stay with them or try to see their point of view, I was happy from the get-go that it happened because it meant I wasn't with that kind of person anymore. AdzPower 3,385 Posted November 16, 2013 Share Posted November 16, 2013 I feel like it would depend on the circumstances, I would want to find out what would make them cheat in the first place, in a lot of cases it's because the person is an asshole, I except that, but other times it could be for underlying reasons, and personally I would want to know why dating me might make the other person cheat.
