e m ✩ 230
Wtf is up with one of the girl's statement "I was a bisexual then, but I'm a lesbian now" sexuality is fluid and can change over time. there's also the fact that many homosexual people identify as bisexual first because its really scary when you finally start to find yourself, you dont want to accept yet this new part of yourself youre finding out so you hold on to what your old identity used to be. however this doesnt mean all bisexual people are gonna turn out full on gay. btich 104
I'm glad more and more people are opening up more about their sexuality in conservative countries such as SK, it's probably really hard for them yet they still live it out
redheart 7,440
The tomboyish girl is so fucking cute wow I very surprised that they were brave enough to have this interview their bare faces If more and more people do this, the lgbtq community will gain visibility in korea and hopefully things will get better for them there fighting! Sexuality is not fluid, you're born with one sexuality and you can't change it.
resu 4,250
Wtf is up with one of the girl's statement "I was a bisexual then, but I'm a lesbian now" From what i learned in gender psych, unlike guys, a girls sexuality isnt as straightforward and tends to change a lot. Tends to be more fluid. Of course depends on each person, everyone has a difference experience. Its just what the research says from what I learned. DeeZee 1,603
Wtf is up with one of the girl's statement "I was a bisexual then, but I'm a lesbian now" Most of them dated guys first, which shouldn't come as much of a surprise. In a place like South Korea most people will try to fit in and deny their sexuality. This leads to them acting "normal" and dating guys. That's what she probably meant. Like, she just had relations with women in private because society deemed it shameful, and now she no longer cares. In truth--she was probably always a lesbian. DeeZee 1,603
Bullshit. You're just encouraging straight men's delusions on how they can turn a lesbian straightIt's not true for everyone, but some people do flip-flop. Is that really so hard to understand? That someone could go from being bisexual to preferring one gender? Like, I can't even believe you're debating something so simple. It's not fluid for everyone. That's all that needs to be said. But you're acting like her statement is blasphemy...totally impossible.

They might prefer women for a few months, and then prefer men for a months. But a straight man can never fall in love with a man, and a lesbian can't either. If they do they are simply bisexual but they didn't realize it. Your sexuality can't just change. You're seriously pissing me off.

JaceyPanduh20 575
I've watched this video before and it made me cry honestly.. I'm just glad more people are opening up and talking about this rather than keep it hush-hush. Hopefully more and more won't be afraid to do the same and LGBT people in SK will be able to feel more safe being out and showing their partner off to the world without fear of being harassed in any form. Thigh-high feminist 15,764
I will never understand the intolerance to fluid sexuality in the gay/lesbian community. Like, who are YOU to tell me what I am and can be. THE IRONY. Anyway, kudos to these ladies for their bravery.

If they do they are simply bisexual but they didn't realize it. Your sexuality can't just change. You're seriously pissing me off. Read my first reply to you. The one lady said she couldn't fall in love with a man, but dated one anyway. The lady who pissed you off is probably just a lesbian who was in denial. Something that is quite common in countries like South Korea. You should calm down and read what I actually said. Of course a fully straight or gay person won't switch teams. This conversation was NEVER about that. But it's plausible that a bisexual person could say, "You know what--I think I'm really gay. It's time to stop fighting who I really am." I'm never going to be sexually attracted to females, it just can't happen. You are born with a certain kind of sexuality and you can't change that, no matter how hard you try. I know right. They make it sound like homosexuals can just stop being homosexual since sexuality apparently is fluid. Why are people homosexual in countries where you get killed for being gay then, if sexuality now is fluid? Why don't they just switch to being straigt? For 3+ years I tried to supress my lesbianism and tried to force myself into loving guys, but it didn't work and I ended up with so much self hate and suicidal feelings. We get it, you switch between loving men and loving women. You're bisexual, but stop forcing your bisexuality onto other people and acting as if all sexualities are "fluid"

Well you are either going to be with a male or female, not with a cactus or anything else. If your preferences change involuntarily, it means you are bi.
